What customers say
This adults-only spot has roomy, chilled-out sites by Colemere lake with woodland/canal walks. Owners are deadset legends, facilities are spotless, and the communal lounge is a ripper. Watch out for tight access roads and bumpy bits, but it's a top-notch stay, heaps of people love it and are keen to come back.

Lovely Campsite! Friendly Owners.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked We stayed in Colemere Caravan Park for two nights during a late May heatwave. The owners are super friendly and greeted us on arrival with a map of the area - showing direct walks from the site onto the stunning lake and further afield onto the canal to nearby Ellesmere (around 45-50 mins). There were also local recommendations for sightseeing and pubs etc.
The site was spacious and well maintained. Pitches are large and we didn't feel like we were too close to other campers.
Showers and toilet facilities were constantly cleaned and there was always a ready supply of toilet roll, hand-wash and hand towels. The womens facilities had a dress up area with a hairdryer and plug for straighteners etc. There were also a few toiletries in case you forget any essentials.
The clubhouse is well equipped with microwave, fridge freezer and kettle. There's an outdoor sink for washing up and also an indoor sink if that was in use. Wifi is also available in the clubhouse.
Firepits with wood, firelighters and kindling were provided at an extra cost and delivered directly to the pitch. Would recommend taking your own firelighters.
Last but my no means least this is an adult only site so ideal for a quieter stay. Great campsite that we will definitely visit again.
Disliked Unfortunately the hot water in the showers was cold one morning. I believe this was due to an issue with the boiler. This also impacted washing dishes - I did use the kettle provided in the clubhouse however this did take some time to boil.

Many small touches to make sure visitors have everything they need.Hot showers and hot water for washing up and we loved the little area to sit and chill with a drink. Also loved the walk around the lake which is just through a gate on the site.Plenty to do in the area.Would definitely recommend to family and friends and we look forward to returning soon.

Liked Really lovely campsite with great walks all around. Never once had to wait to use any of the facilities and the owners are really lovely and welcoming.
