What customers say
This is a peaceful, back-to-basics wild camping site with beautiful views. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful hosts, Lynn and Matt, and the lovely natural setting, ideal for star gazing and enjoying nature. The site offers open space and a playground for children. While some reviews highlight a lack of running water and basic facilities such as a compost toilet, most guests found the site to be excellent value and a relaxing getaway. One reviewer noted issues with the designated campervan pitch, describing it as basic and lacking adequate water facilities.

This is a very quiet campsite…
Non-electric grass pitch (wild)
Liked This is a very quiet campsite up a small lane. There are fantastic views. The fact that it only has one compostable toilet and no water supply means few people camp here, which was what we were looking for. On one of the nights over the bank holiday weekend it was just us and the sounds of nature, no other campers.

Basic but lovely!!
Non-electric grass pitch (wild)
Liked Everything! We arrived to an empty field, the surroundings were beautiful. The honesty box was super handy. The compostable loo was clean and there was plenty of soap and hand gel. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates and this was changed with no charge as soon as I realised. It was exactly what we wanted, a quiet campsite with the basics but lots available within driving distance. We had the most wonderful time.
