What customers say
This is a spacious, flat, and peaceful site with a friendly, helpful owner. Campfires are permitted, and the location is excellent for exploring, with footpaths to local villages and pubs within easy walking distance. Facilities are basic, with some visitors noting the distance and limited number of showers and toilets. While porta-loos offer closer convenience, their cleanliness was a concern for some. Access through a storage yard and occasional train noise were also mentioned.

Lovely location. Level pitches. Facilities clean and sufficient.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked I was In a campervan but didn’t want EHU as only there for one night. So camped in the large well maintained, tree lined camping field. Was very peaceful. The pub down the road served delicious food and was only a 5 minute walk.

Flat field. Poor facilities.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Large flat camping field. Owner friendly. Shower was hot. Located in nice village.
Disliked Showers weren't clean. Showers and loos are located a very long way from the camping field. Portaloos were nearer but yucky. Noisy neighbours partying til gone midnight. Also train noise into the night.

Good site basically facilities but clean and tidy.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The grass pitch was good and the owner of the site was friendly and helpful on the phone.
The showers were basic but clean as were the toilets.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Perfect for us to pitch up in the evening, walk 5 minutes to the local pub; then Leacock first thing. Loved it.

A relaxed and level campsite with plenty of space.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Level pitch. Lots of space. Relaxing once used to the trains passing by.
Portaloos are spaced throughout the field so toilets are never too far away.
Water points nearby.
Loved watching the red kites, bats and shooting stars.
Friendly owner - daily visit to check all was OK.
Disliked Recommend earplugs at night - trains are frequent on the nearby rail line.
Distance to showers - but there were two spacious wet rooms - we usually visited en route to our day's activities.
The Bear Pub was expensive.

Disliked Zuwendungen Toiletten und Duschen. Alles ist sehr Basic und wenn die Nachbarn Feier machen, wird man stark eingeräuchert.

Lovely and relaxing. Price was ok, nice responsive owner, a bit basic.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely open field, plenty of space, easy going, perfect location for exploring and walking, friendly and peaceful. Enjoyed having a campfire.
Disliked Very basic facilities. Chemical portaloos and only 2 showers for the whole site which were miles away. Nowhere to get/buy basics like eggs.

Basic site - but you get what you pay for.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Relaxed site - owner friendly.
Nice views from field
Great location
Local pub 5 min walk lovely food (but expensive)
Disliked Toilet, shower and washing up facilities were a long away from main field and very basic. 2 showers for whole field were ridiculous. Portaloo placed in field was helpful but then when asked if this could be cleaned / flush refilled on first night, nothing was done.
No fire pits or wood sold so bring your own. This wasn’t communicated when booked so we had to improvise.
You enter site through a storage yard of camper and caravans, which is very depressing.

Liked Very friendly and helpful owner. The rules are very relaxed which was nice and there was plenty of space. There are showers, toilets and fresh water. It is less than 10 mins drive to Didcot town centre with lots of shops. I will be going back soon!!
