Positiv The whole process was very efficient, a quick call on the number and 5 mins later I was parked up and hooked up. Hardstanding pitch we were on was nice and level, it was secluded and quiet too. Will definitely stop here again

Positiv Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Gastgeber. Für den geringen Preis und die einzige Möglichkeit in der Nähe von Oxfort okay.

Negativ Der Platz selber ist mehr ein Abstellplatz für GB Campingfahrzeuge. Sanitärs haben wir nicht genutzt.

Positiv John was very welcoming and helpful when we phoned on arrival, we booked last minute as a stop off and for a shower on the way home from Surrey - Derbyshire.
The pitch was lovely and level, no one really close to us and access to electric if we wanted it.
We had a lovely peaceful evening and decided to walk to the Bear pub for dinner and it was delicious and really reasonably priced! Walked back to the van and had a wonderful sleep.
The toilets and shower are basic but doesn’t bother us as we’re not precious!

Positiv Really enjoyed our stay. The pitches were very spacious, and we had a really friendly welcome when we arrived. It was lovely and quiet, which was exactly what we wanted.
There’s a really nice pub nearby which backs onto a large field/park, so it was perfect for taking the dogs for a walk and then stopping for dinner.
We also really liked that there wasn’t a set checkout time the following morning, so we could take our time packing everything away. Great value for money too.
We brought our own toilet so didn’t use the toilet facilities, but I did use the shower. It was fairly basic, but absolutely fine and did the job.

Negativ Honestly, nothing particularly stood out. The facilities are fairly basic, but for the price and what we needed for a one-night stay, we were very happy.

Negativ Men’s toilets a little difficult to get into cubicles and seat down due to their strange orientation!

Positiv Beautiful campsite! Fab location Jon was really friendly :-) very dog friendly 🐾
Non allocated pitches so can choose your perfect spot! 2 fab country pubs a tiny walk away. Amazing night sky's for star gazing. Have been back again and will do in the future too :-)

Negativ Toilets very basic, but totally happy with them.

Positiv We liked the lovely peaceful location and the beautiful views of the area, the short drive to didcot was great & the drive through the lanes was pretty.
There was plenty of space to park in the field to choose from.
And the on site arrival time was fantastic & depart time also .

Negativ The shower block needed abit of attention and was abit of a walk to get to, the porta loos in the main field were disgusting and smelled and should be removed surely there could be a proper toilet installed.

Positiv A reasonable price for a reasonable pitch, lots of bad press about this site and I just don’t see it. The team were polite and helpful, the site had everything it promised (including a great pub a very short walk away) and the facilities were adequate. We will come back

Negativ Not something that can be controlled by the site was that we found a number of tent pegs that had been left behind by previous occupants (one to watch when you setting up)

Positiv We stayed here for one night. Great size pitches and has everything you need. Very basic but that's camping isn't it! Owners were great and made sure we were happy on site :)
