What customers say
This spacious, peaceful campground offers a relaxed vibe & pitch choice. Campfires welcome, praised for friendly owner & lovely rural setting with nearby pubs/walks. Basic but functional facilities, with portable toilets in the field. Some note a nearby train line & occasionally dated toilet/shower facilities.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked I had a lovely big pitch shaded by trees. Short walk to gents toilets which were in a type of container.
Good sinks and toilets.
Very nice pub called the Bear a short walk away.
This is not a normal campsite. It is mainly a caravan and motorhome storage depot, with a few nice pitches and a very large camping field. It was fine for us as we were just visiting a friend, but probs not for a full holiday.
Disliked Ladies toilets were pretty bad, unlike the gents !
Only two showers which were about 250m away in another container.

Did the job for one night in a camper. Wouldn't stay again.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Its near a pub.
It was cheap.
Disliked Facilities are very poor and basic and need serious renovation. We have no problem with basic, however the facilities are dilapidated, for example the floor in the washing up 'shed' is soaked and rotten, and there is no light. The toilet area is old and dirty and the taps aren't attached to the sinks properly. We decided not to use the showers! The guy running it seemed friendly on the phone on our arrival.

Simple stopover on a trip but nothing special
Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Nice guy on arrival. Clear instructions on where to go. No issues, fairly quiet and didnt get disturbed. Left 8am next day all went smooth.
Disliked Not sure this is a campsite for pitchup or not. Its a mash of storage, permentant living and the odd holiday makers. It was very basic but was not unhappy. Pricepoijt maybe a little high for pitchup with the standards people used to on there
