Disliked Experienced the landlady's abrupt and curt manner as documented by other users in spite of (fortunately) only having contact with her for approximately 60 seconds. Toilet facilities do need sorting as per other comments. JG Pears? Occasional odorous waft very unappealing. Please just oil the children's swing.

Liked A simple campsite in a pub garden. A lovely setting right on the riverbank of the river Trent.
The pub has a great live music set up outside. The band were good fun.
They had a chef off sick so we couldn’t get any food from the typical pub grub menu which was a real disappointment as there continued to be food served around us.
It is what it is. £12 a night. Very basic facilities that all need updating, but for £12, you really can’t grumble.
The band were ace!

Disliked No food served even though we ordered and paid. We were given a refund straightaway though.

Liked We spent our first holiday with our trailer tent here this weekend and we loved it, great location, great pub, the food was proper pub food which was delicious!
Everyone was friendly, right by the river which we spent watching the locals water skiing and taking the dog for walks, had a brilliant stay and we didn’t want to go home, currently booking another longer holiday there for next year!

Disliked Nothing, we couldn’t find any fault whatsoever!

Liked Pitch was flat . Good hot showers but only two showers so if busy, possibly not enough. Area for washing pots and pans looked new.

Disliked Men’s shower head leaking but nobody onsite that we could see to report issue.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 16 or over.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

The fishing lakes are stocked with carp.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
This site does have a catch-and-return fishing policy in place.

A cable measuring at least 15 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
Minimum spacing of 6 metres between pitches.
