Me gustó Beautiful place, beautiful cozy and welcoming pub, food was fantastic, pint pulled to perfection! Excellent service by all the staff, well behaved dogs very welcome 👍 Big place, great play area for kids and the biggest weeping willow tree I have seen in all my life! It is magnificent ☺️ Great walks, River Trent is next door. Facilities were spotless! One of the nicest places we've been to. Had a great night's sleep. Very recommended 10/10 👍

No me gustó We got a self-sufficient camper, so we were a 100% happy here. The female outdoor toilets have just been upgraded. The male toilets will get modernised very soon but they are absolutely spotless and perfect for what they are intented for, also. There was absolutely nothing to complain about ☺️👍

Me gustó Checked in, Had a meal which was excellent, in the pub and a few pints. Two girls and young lad behind the bar were lovely. Nice fire going keeping the place toasty.

No me gustó There’s always room for improvement. We take each place we go as it comes, no complaints here. Toilet/shower block was clean.
Have to mention the older woman. Nothing, spoke to her. “Hello”. Nothing, no hello, no smile, nothing, hospitality is not for everyone though is it.

Me gustó Friendly, inviting pub with a lovely fuel burner. Campsite good value for money. Toilet and shower block nice and clean.

No me gustó My sister had a shower there, she said there wasn't many places to put your things.

Me gustó This is a hiden little Gem, right on the River trent. Very reasonably priced. It is right at the bottom of the lane. Easy booking in at the Pub, which was very welcoming, busy with a nice atmosphere & a log burner on as we arrived in Oct. Pitch was directly opposite the pub with EH on a large hard standing area. Facilities were clean, shower and toilets. Power shower. Outside pot cleaning area next to these facilities. Off the floor campfire allowed. Pub prices for beer were very reasonable £9.40 for 2 pints of Madri, which is great. Apologies we didnt eat on this occassion simply to do with funds at the moment but the food looked hearty and was well priced. Reference walking, turn right out of the campsite along the river Trent and you can walk for miles. We wanted a chilled weekend so we didnt wander around the area apart from along the river. They had a small play area for the kids and a beautiful willow tree, there was plenty of seating outside the pub and it also had a games room with juke box, darts & a pool table, good vibe. We will be back, thank you.
