A lovely quiet site, great location with basic facilities.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Very quiet, peaceful location with lots of options for walks straight from the site and a secure dog walking area on the site itself.
Pitches are very large and well spaced.
Excellent communication from the site owner.
Disliked Very much a “work in progress” site which is still in its first season, toilet facilities in particular could do with an upgrade…

From the manager: Sorry for delay and glad your overall stay is good at the labyrinth.
I’ve addressed internal gate exiting issue with additional system and installed a Dunny near to pitches.
In relation to work in progress it certainly is but I’m
Overly pleased that all campers enjoy the off grid experience and woodland surroundings.
Safe camping to all users,

Relaxing, peaceful pitches in off grid pretty woodland glades.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked This is a lovely relatively new site. 5 pitches set in a secure off grid peaceful woodland. The owner Dave is really friendly, helpful and welcoming. I was solo camping and he went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed my stay and felt safe. The location is great for exploring the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Lots of wildlife to watch especially at dusk when sat by the fire pit. Nice comunal washing up facilities and open air shower room. I would definitely recommend. I took my own tent but saw that he glamping area which looked amazing.
Disliked Working the showers involves turning on a series of valves and switches. Some instructional signage would be helpful going forward.
Once locked inside the gates of the site the key needs to be returned to its secret safe. Not being tall enough to reach the safe I had to keep climbing over the gate to return the key. This was achievable if a bit inconvenient. But a less able boddied person would find this a problem.
Don't like the porta loo. But Dave did tell me a compost toilet is in the process of being made, so that will be welcome.

What customers say
This is a peaceful, off-grid woodland campsite with spacious pitches and welcoming hosts. Guests enjoy the tranquility, nature, and amenities like hot tubs and fire pits. While some facilities are basic and undergoing development, many appreciate the "back to basics" experience. Limited phone signal is noted but seen as a bonus for switching off. Hosts are praised for their helpfulness.

Lovely place to stay
Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch (members only)
Liked Great site , very quiet , pitches were really good size, quirky little site, with some lovely little places to wander around and explore in the woods.
Dave the owner is very welcoming .
Will definitely come again .
Disliked Nothing disliked, just maybe needs abit more signage, better sign on the main road highlighting the entrance, also which field tents go on and where the dog walk is🐕

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback.
It’s the 20 the week as we run down to the end of the season and it’s been a massive positive overall.
Signage - all in hand with a site map being done as we speak.
Signage on the main gate has sufficed the last 20 weeks and we ask all customers to use what3words. However understandably a good idea but comes with a cost.
Trying to keep the site off grid and basic and all the feedback confirms we are not far off.
As agreed I will review end of season and amend changes needed including the infamous dunny as promised.
Many thanks for your visit and kind words

Recently had a 2 night getaway…
Bell tent
Liked Recently had a 2 night getaway in the bell tent, with my best friend.
We felt immersed in nature whilst having the luxuries of a beautiful bell tent, hot tub and the best outdoor shower I’ve ever had.
Dave was enthusiastic and attentive. Very welcoming and we chatted about his future plans for the site. All sound amazing. We will be returning soon.

Liked Fantastic setting and true to owners description. Lots of thoughtful additions and Dave couldn't have been more helpful. Hot-tub great, shower great, open space in a unique setting. Battery power also supplied which was a bonus. The kitchen area is also excellent with a gas bbq provided for basic cooking.
