Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Nice and quiet site no children allowed only if visiting family's in the lodges.
Very relaxing time and ralph was great when we had a hose leak !!! Nothing was too much trouble and is an asset to the site no rush to leave the site very laid back. I would certainly recommend.
As for the White swan pub, went in for a bite to eat and asked for a tea and coffee assuming we would get milk and sugar to add but NO it came with no saucer and sugar added so i assumed !!! only it wasnt sugar it was SALT !!!! Took to counter and would of expected a better attitude for the mistake. Another was brought out by a different staff member the manager which was on a saucer with sugar on the side and then an apology given. You need to have milk and SUGAR separately so I can decide the amount I want ...I will not return to that pub.

This adult-only site is highly praised for its peaceful atmosphere, spacious and well-maintained pitches, and excellent location. Facilities are generally described as clean, though some guests noted potential for improvement, particularly regarding the number of showers when the site is busy. Local attractions

The attractions at Sundown Adventureland (five minutes’ drive) were built with younger visitors (under the age of 10) in mind – kids can ride a tractor or meet the characters from The Wizard of Oz on the Yellow Brick Road snaking through the forest. They'll also believe pigs can fly on the Giddy Piggies ride. Explore 3,000+ acres of parkland at National Trust - Clumber Park (25 minutes), a former ducal estate that now welcomes visitors – whether on foot or bike. Check out the Gothic chapel, pause for a picnic by the lake or in the Pleasure Grounds, or sniff out the Rose Garden, with its dozens of varieties. When in Nottinghamshire, of course you have to pay a visit to Sherwood Forest (half an hour), said to have been home to Robin Hood and his merry men. There are historical reenactments celebrating this folklore hero, or you can simply explore wooded trails, looking out for birds like woodpeckers and pipits.
