Liked Enjoyed the stay very much at Sherwood pines, the dogs loved running around the forest and the long walks, it was very relaxing and peaceful at night, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming , would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Anonymous Bothy camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked We came as a group of 18 some with caravans etc. This was perfect for us who wanted to be on the campsite so still part of the group without our own camping equipment. The campsite parked the caravans close to the bothy so we were all as a group so it was perfect. They had the heating on ready for arrival. Everything you needed kitchen wise including, kettle, toaster, coffee and tea. Can not fault
Disliked No matches for the fire, but the heating was warm so we didn't need.

Liked Location is fantastic to get into the Forest Trails and further.
When we arrived 50mins before official check in time started we were warmly welcomed and we were able to get to our pitch (non electric for one night).
Plenty of facilities and kept clean.

Liked Good spacious site, great facilities clean and well maintained. Checking in and personally being shown to choose our pitch was great. Pizza van on site when we arrived was an added bonus.
We only stayed one night as a stopover one longer trip, but would definitely have on our list to return and explore the forest more.

Nice, but not sure we would return. Bit too noisy for us.

Liked We had a fully serviced pitch. Water, waste water and electric. Beautiful area.
Toilets and showers nice and clean. Friday night was pizza night. A pizza van came to the site. Very nice. Saturday morning another food van serving breakfasts, cobs etc also very nice. Plenty of bins around the site with the opportunity to recycle. Plenty of dog waste bins around the site. We found the staff very friendly.
Disliked Fully serviced pitch wasn't very big. Only just got the car and caravan side by side. Speed limit was 5mph. However lots of children and adults riding around the site at speed.
