  • Well-equipped family touring park on the edge of Ingoldmells
  • Direct access to the sandy beach; Fantasy Island 20 minutes' walk
  • Fishing lake on site and family pub opposite with play areas
Ingoldmells is synonymous with family seaside holidays – with its long sandy beach, family attractions and range of places to eat and drink, it’s a top spot for easy holidays on the Lincolnshire coast. Making those stays even easier is Waterside Leisure Park, a well-equipped family-friendly park with direct access to the beach and a location within walking distance of popular attractions including Fantasy Island theme park, Hardy’s Animal Farm and Jump Warriors Trampoline Park. The surrounding Anchor Lane area is full of arcades, fish and chip shops and pubs, and there’s a supermarket a one-minute walk away. Alternatively, just cross the road for a meal or drinks with live entertainment (bingo, karaoke and guest singers) and play areas at Woody's Bar & Restaurant. With a fishing lake and plenty of handy facilities (including a launderette and bathroom block) also on site, you could easily park up here for a good few days and simply roam around on foot with no need to pack everyone into the car again. That said, if you do want to explore further afield, you could hop on the bus to Skegness or take the car to nearby quieter spots like Sutton on Sea or the walking trails of the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape. Topping off the long list of selling points here are 24-hour security to keep you all safe, and a friendly team on hand to offer advice and tips on the local area.

What customers say

This campsite benefits from a prime location, a short walk from the beach and local attractions. Guests frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff. While some note that the touring pitches have limited wash facilities, the main amenities are generally described as clean and modern. There are recurring comments regarding the main toilet and shower blocks being locked overnight, although a 24-hour facility is available. The on-site bar operates on a cash-only basis. Manager comments indicate plans to implement a security fob system for overnight toilet access and to review the late arrival process.

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Lovely site, really nice staff. 5 min walk to beach, (i'd say this end is nicer) and all that Ingoldmells has to offer. Bus stop close by as its a bit of a trek to get to Fantasy Island amusement park and other end of beach but 5 mins on the bus.

10 miles to Mablethorpe which i thought was a lovely place to be, spotlessly clean with lots for kids to do

Disliked Toilet blocks could do with a refresh but were spotlessly clean. Only dislike is that toilet/shower blocks is locked at 9pm, however the disabled facility remains unlocked.

Not the campsites fault but the beach has a lot of litter, maybe washed up by the sea, the area around fantasy island is a litter dumping ground the local council could make an effort with cleaning the area and they'd have a great resort.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, James. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.

Our main toilet and shower facilities are locked overnight from 8pm until 8am, although we do have a smaller toilet facility available 24 hours a day and the disabled is never closed. We are looking into a security fob system which would allow customers to access the toilets 24 hours a day, while still helping us prevent misuse of the facilities.

We understand you found the fob deposit inconvenient, however it is a refundable security deposit.

We’re disappointed that you won’t be returning, but we do appreciate your comments as they help us review and improve the experience we offer our guests.

Liked Had one night stay here park is clean facilities are spotless walking distance into ingoldmells. Staff were lovely friendly and helpful 😊

Disliked Toilets closed at 8pm to 8am in main block but there were Toilets in the other field

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay and found the park clean and spotless. It is great to hear you found our staff friendly and helpful.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the toilets close at 8pm but did manage to find other toilets open. We are currently looking into a security fob system which would allow customers to access the toilets 24 hours a day, while still helping us prevent misuse of the facilities.

We hope to welcome you back again for perhaps a longer stay! ☺

Peter T. 1 review

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Nothing to dislike with this site. The staff, Dave and his team were amazing. We broke down on the way there so had to arrive on a breakdown lorry. The staff sprung into action on my arival, siting my caravan and even levelling it up.
It's walking distance into Ingoldmells centre but there are shops and bars just outside the entrance.
As mentioned before, the main toilet block shuts at 8 pm and opens up at 8 am but that's not a problem as there's a smaller block that's open all night.
There's also a lovely bar on site that does bingo and the odd auction. Just to note that's cash only.
A great site that I'm sure we'll visit again.

From the manager: Wow, thank you for such a fantastic review, Peter! We really do appreciate your lovely comments and your 10/10 rating.

It was our absolute pleasure to help where we could after you’d had such a stressful journey to our park. We’re so pleased that Dave and the team were able to step in, get you settled and help you start your holiday on a positive note.

Thank you also for the beautiful biscuits! Be assured, they have been shared with the team to enjoy with an afternoon cup of tea — they certainly didn’t last long!

It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the park, our facilities and the convenient location, and your kind comments about the team really do mean a lot to us.

We look forward to greeting you again in the future and hopefully your next journey to us will be a little less eventful!

It’s great to hear that Wayne gave you such a warm welcome and was helpful in getting you settled on your pitch. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind comments to him.

We’re also pleased you enjoyed our shower facilities. We know the additional seating area in the cubicles is a useful touch, particularly when getting changed.

Thank you again for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to the park again soon!

Liked Site was convenient for all areas to explore. Friendly welcome.

Disliked Toilets were closed at 8pm and there were only 4 ladies showers for the whole site. I can understand they got misused if left open but that is not your paying customers problem. Maybe night security needed. Electric set up was very confusing for some. I personally asked someone who stays all season for advice.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and for your positive comments regarding our location and the welcome you received.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the toilet facilities. The disable toilet will be refreshed in due course. We are currently looking into a security fob system which would allow customers to access the toilets 24 hours a day, while still helping us prevent misuse of the facilities.

Regarding the electric, our welcome letter provides clear instructions on how to load credit onto the electric meter. If customers require any assistance, our reception team are also happy to help explain the process. We also include the information verbally on check in.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back to the park in the future.

Local attractions

Ingoldmells alone has plenty to fill a few family days – perhaps your youngsters fancy meeting all the cute residents of Hardy’s Animal Farm, bouncing about at Jump Warriors Trampoline Park or trying all the rides at Fantasy Island theme park. And of course the huge long sandy beach has a nice shallow gradient and heaps of space for paddling, sandcastles, picnics and chomping on fish and chips. You may have also heard of a little place called Skegness? Getting there is nice and easy too – just board a bus at the stop outside the park for the 20-minute journey to get to Natureland Seal Sanctuary, Skegness Aquarium and the pleasure beach. Elsewhere along the coast, Sutton on Sea (20 minutes’ drive) is nice for a quiet beach wander, and Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve (25 minutes) is good for birdwatching. Turning your sights inland, there are lots of lovely walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape (15 minutes), more animals at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park (half an hour) and heritage sites like Gunby Hall (10 minutes) or Bolingbroke Castle (25 minutes).
