Mi è piaciuto Pitches were a great size and quiet but it is end of season.staff are friendly and helpful as had a small problem when we arrived but sorted with no fuss.
Club at the entrance is great loved playing bingo in it a real atmosphere.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilets are clean but could do with some tlc as tatty.
Locks broken on cubicles and no toilet roll in some of the cubicles.

We would like to highlight that you booked during our 3 for 2 offer, meaning one night of your stay was free. This brought the cost of your fully serviced hardstanding pitch down to just £22 per night, with some electric credit included. Yet, disappointingly we received a low score for value for money!

We appreciate that during the autumn months, with cooler temperatures, heating is used more frequently and electric credit can understandably run down quicker. We recommend using gas heating, or a combination of gas and electric, to help make your included credit last longer.

We have taken on board your comments regarding the shower block and the facilities in the gents' toilets, and appreciate you bringing these to our attention.

The Tavern pub is managed and operated as a private business, independently from Waterside Leisure Park. We appreciate that the behaviour you experienced in the pub, including the swearing and level of drinking, was not suitable for everyone. We understand there was a celebration taking place at the time, but we apologise for the experience you received.

We also note that you requested a late departure on the Sunday, which we were happy to accommodate. In light of this, we are particularly disappointed to receive a review which rates our customer service at only 4/10.

We do take your comments regarding the toilet facilities on board and will continue to look at improvements.

Mi è piaciuto Closeness to sea front. Nice welcoming staff. Having all the drains etc by the side of your pitch, so no lugging chemical waste miles to empty etc. Good size pitch.

Non mi è piaciuto Although the pitches are large, getting into them is abit tight. My hubby drives a hgv so used to getting in tight spaces. But the couple that arrived just after us struggled and hit the caravan op them. The bins are a long way off. Most sites we have used in the past have bins in each area. These were up by the shower block only and very very full.

We’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay overall, especially the cleanliness of the site, the size of the pitch and how close you were to the seafront. It’s also great to hear you found our team welcoming.

Regarding access onto the pitches were sorry there was a struggle pitching up, however no issues were raised with our team, we would have been happy to assist where we can to ensure a better arrival experience. Indeed, we thought ahead and upgraded your pitch to a fully serviced hardstanding pitch, at no additional cost due to having very soft grass from the heavy rain. We hope this improved your experience with us.

Our bins do regularly get emptied, but at weekends, when the site is particularly busy, it can be challenging to keep them as we would want them. We’ll certainly continue to monitor this and do our best to keep on top of it.
