Mi è piaciuto Closeness to sea front. Nice welcoming staff. Having all the drains etc by the side of your pitch, so no lugging chemical waste miles to empty etc. Good size pitch.

Non mi è piaciuto Although the pitches are large, getting into them is abit tight. My hubby drives a hgv so used to getting in tight spaces. But the couple that arrived just after us struggled and hit the caravan op them. The bins are a long way off. Most sites we have used in the past have bins in each area. These were up by the shower block only and very very full.

We’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay overall, especially the cleanliness of the site, the size of the pitch and how close you were to the seafront. It’s also great to hear you found our team welcoming.

Regarding access onto the pitches were sorry there was a struggle pitching up, however no issues were raised with our team, we would have been happy to assist where we can to ensure a better arrival experience. Indeed, we thought ahead and upgraded your pitch to a fully serviced hardstanding pitch, at no additional cost due to having very soft grass from the heavy rain. We hope this improved your experience with us.

Our bins do regularly get emptied, but at weekends, when the site is particularly busy, it can be challenging to keep them as we would want them. We’ll certainly continue to monitor this and do our best to keep on top of it.

Mi è piaciuto The welcome was nice even tho we was late arriving the man was stil waiting for us . Shown to our pitch and left us to our own devices which I like . Great location / onsite club . Straight across is woodys bar for great food and entertainment . Short walk to arcades . Amazing for if you have small kids . And literally a 10 mins walk in other direction is hardys farm / abs brilliant: tractor ride . Baby goats roaming about and a great park and cafe . All in all a fantastic weekend x

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely love this site. Starting with location it's a few mins walk to the beach arcade shops and pubs near anchor lane. On site there is a fishing lake. Toilet and shower block. A small club on site. The fully serviced pitch is good with a platform for your moterhome or touring caravan with nearly double the size at the side for awnings. It has a grass verge then the next pitch. Lots of space for what you need and more. There was no charge for bringing the dog too.

Non mi è piaciuto The toilet and shower block is only open from 8am till 8pm so you will need to use your on board toilet overnight. The electric boxes need to have better signs on each box as it took a while to figure out the one I was supposed to use.

We’re really pleased to hear how much you love the site and its location. It’s great to know you enjoyed the spacious fully serviced pitch and found there was plenty of room for your motorhome, caravan, awning and everything else you needed. We’re also glad your four-legged friend was able to enjoy the stay with you at no extra charge.

We’re pleased you made the most of everything that’s close by, including the beach, arcades, shops and pubs, as well as our fishing lake and onsite pub.

Thank you also for your honest feedback regarding the main toilet and shower block opening times, plans are in place for a security fob system so they are accessible 24hrs for our customers. However the disabled toilet and shower and smaller toilets on the top field are available all the time.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a site for campervans as you ideally need to be self contained as the shower/toilet and pot wash area is too far away from where you get pitched.
2 pitches available to choose from and both had no grass just mud because they had clearly been seasonal caravan pitches.

We’re sorry that you were disappointed with the touring pitches. As it was a bank holiday weekend, the park was very busy and the choice of pitches was therefore very limited. We appreciate that the location of the shower block and it's facilities may not have been convenient for a campervan that is not fully self-contained. We also understand your concerns about the condition of the pitches during your stay. We’ve had an unusually dry summer, which has meant the grass has struggled to grow, followed by a deluge of rain last week that has inevitably affected the ground conditions. We are looking at improvements to the touring area, including work to improve the pitches over the winter, and we hope these will provide a better experience for our touring guests.

We’re also sorry that children running around your pitch affected your stay. We appreciate that guests value having their own space and a peaceful environment while on holiday. We do note that we don’t believe any issues were reported to reception during your stay, as we would have attempted to resolve any concerns at the time wherever possible.

Everywhere you went the smell off weed was horrible,
And you were charged for electricity which wasn’t in the write up anywhere for this site.

We’re sorry that you were disappointed with the touring pitches. We do have a number of seasonal tourers on site, although we appreciate that this may not have been to your preference. We also have plans to make improvements to the area over the winter period, and we hope these will enhance the experience for our touring guests.

Regarding the smell of cannabis, we’re sorry this affected your stay. We do not permit drug use on site and would always encourage guests to report any issues to reception so that we can address them where possible.

With regard to the electricity charge, apologies this was not clear at the time of booking. We do provide a quantity of electricity credit on arrival. The amount provided is estimated based on the expected usage and the length of stay, and we believe this should be adequate for most guests. However, usage can vary, and guests are responsible for topping up if their credit runs out or becomes low. We appreciate your feedback, and the information has now been included more clearly in our booking details.

Mi è piaciuto The closeness to amenities is great and liked it was only a 15/20 minute walk to fantasy island. Its only a 5 minute walk to the beach and shops.


People on the site were lovely and helpful
And the shower/toilet block was kept clean

Non mi è piaciuto We were put on a pitch that someone had come off seasonally, there was no grass or anything as you came out of your caravan door just a mud patch as they had a awning up, but in the rain we had it just turned into a mud bath

We’re sorry about the condition of your pitch. We have experienced an exceptionally dry period this summer, which has unfortunately made it very difficult for the grass to grow and recover. The heavy downpours we experienced this weekend then resulted in a deluge of rain, leaving the ground particularly soft and muddy.

We have now reseeded the affected area and are working to get the grass established again. We appreciate your understanding and hope that you’ll consider visiting us again in the future.
