What customers say

This peaceful, adult-only site offers clean, well-maintained facilities, including underfloor heated shower blocks. Many guests praise the friendly, helpful staff and beautiful lake views, ideal for fishing and wildlife spotting. Its location is convenient for Skegness. Some pitches are tight, and a few guests noted dated facilities and road noise, or issues with goose/duck waste. A small number of guests found certain pitches, particularly hardstanding ones, to be like lay-bys and poorly located.

Local attractions

Most folk coming to these parts angle to get to Skegness first, the famed seaside town with sandy beach, pier, many amusements and evening entertainment in clubs, bars and the Embassy Theatre. The Natureland Seal Santuary is in town too if you/the kids want to see some local nature; to see seals in the wild, the Donna Nook Natural Nature Reserve covers over six miles of salt marsh coastline between Grainthorpe Haven and Saltfleet. Around Skegness are Ingoldmells, most visited for its theme park Fantasy Island and its big indoor market, open seven days a week; the beach huts and sands of Sutton on Sea are to the north, and there's more of the same, along with another seal sanctuary, at Mablethorpe. Roach Farm Park is also a short drive from the traditional pubs and family-run shops of Lincolnshire town Burgh Le Marsh.
