What customers say
This adult-only site is praised for its peace and tranquility, ideal for fishing enthusiasts, with clean and well-maintained shower and toilet facilities. Many guests highlight the friendly and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, and good value for money. Some visitors found hard standing pitches to be tight or akin to a lay-by. A few comments mention dated facilities and occasional road noise, while others note that fishing pegs could benefit from attention. Overall, a relaxing and clean site with a high likelihood of return visits.

We would not have stayed had we not been in our own caravan
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (lake view)
Liked The park is far from peaceful, the road noise is constant & during the night too!
The check in time is 11am but 2 mornings we were woken by tourers arriving along by us at 8.30/9ish & as happens so often on these sites, someone comes along to give their words of wisdom, so, very loud chatting, engines revving & caravans being unhitched & unpacked 😡 before check in time!
Toilets & showers are very tired & dated, the floors are so slippery & my husband said the urinal in the men's is just full of rust.
The fishing is not the best, swim platforms are falling into the lake, lots of branches & debris in & out of the water making it hard to fish.
A word of warning, take cash if you're fishing, we had no info on how & where to pay & the Bailiff has a bailiff attitude when collecting the money 😠
All in all it could be a gorgeous few days away, but a bit disappointing for a company with various sites.
Disliked Its advertised as a fishing lake or lakes, repair the swims, clean some of the branches & debris from the water & give it a general clean up!
Renovate the toilet blocks.
Have some consideration for others when letting people check in early!
