General

  • Family park a short drive from Mablethorpe
  • Coarse fishing pond, indoor pool and kids' club
  • Adventure playground, soft play area and bar lounge serving food

Had enough of the boss making you do all the donkey work? Fed up with working like a pack mule? Feel like it’s been donkey’s years since your last holiday? Come and kick your heels with the real donkeys on Mablethorpe beach for a few days instead.

Set on the north Lincolnshire coast, Sunnydale Holiday Park is a short drive away from the fab family beach at Mablethorpe, and has a relaxed setting with its own coarse fishing pond, indoor pool and a bar lounge serving a good range of grub.

There are also great kids’ clubs for children under 11, an adventure playground and soft play area, plus a range of organised sports activities on land and in the pool. During the summer guests will also find lively shows laid on to keep the whole family entertained for the evening.

Lovely people but no playing field or activities for older kids. 17/07/2017

The staff and fellow holidaymakers were lovely and helpful. Probably a better site for small children.

    Disliked:

No field or activities for older children, apart from occasional swimming sessions (ours sadly don't like swimming). Our boys are 13 and 12 and made our stay stressful because they were bored and felt shut in. The touring field was packed (possibly the old playing field?) and we felt a bit like sardines. We have a small outfit but witnessed some entries and exits that took a long time with fellow tourers helping out to try to navigate people through the tight spaces. One couple had their awning laid out to put up and another outfit ran over the edge of it to dodge an EHU point. The toilet block was good and generally clean but toilet roll supplies not replenished.

Budget price and friendly staff. Nice location for a short stay and ideal for dog walking.

    Disliked:

Touring showers were limited and not very clean. Unfortunately didn't find the food great compared to the price. Was kindly offered a different meal choice or a full refund though by the chef after explaining what the issue was.

enjoyed the local scenery and villages, plenty of wildlife, birds etc., would like to have seen bird feeders etc., dotted about the site. definitely visit again. thank you very much.

    Disliked:

the wet weather !!!!!!!! nothing else really.heater wasnt working in mens showers.

From the manager...

Thank you for your positive review. I was delighted you enjoyed the park and the local scenery. The Lincolnshire Coast has some stunning local Wildlife on show including the Seals at Donna Nook and some great bird watching locations and attractions on a short walk/drive from Sunnydale. We do have a number of Bird Boxes around the site and a full David Bellamy Information file can be found in reception detailing the local wildlife and walks to go on from the park. We are delighted we have successfully been awarded the Bellamy Gold award for 2016/17 a real coup for the park. We have replaced the defective heater in the showers. I do hope you will visit us again soon – hopefully the weather will be better next time!!

Great site close to the beach loved it for dog walking it's a beach to adventure not your normal kind of beach which can be over packed . Carol the touring warden was always at hand to help and a very nice lady . Swimming pool was warm and club house was comfortable with free WiFi . We didn't eat at club . My son enjoyed the arcade although it could do with more kid slot ma chines . The soft play area is in the swimming pool building along with a play station room( £3 for an hr ). The touring toilet block is also situated in this block along with a basic shop . We really enjoyed this site for its dog friendly location and miles off walking . The site has everything you need after a day out .

    Disliked:

Toilet n shower blocks in main building ..No washing up facility . Outside seating area at club house to small and other bit not tended to . Shop not well stocked and it was school summer holidays . Couldnt book swimming pool activities for a week as fully booked .
