What customers say
This is a well-maintained, clean, and peaceful campsite with spacious pitches and beautiful surroundings. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful staff, the on-site bar and restaurant (Woody's) offering good food at reasonable prices, and the excellent facilities, particularly the clean shower blocks and family rooms. The site is ideal for dog owners with plenty of woodland walks and is also popular for fishing. Minor points raised include dated shower blocks in some areas, occasional road noise, and some WiFi issues. Overall, it's highly recommended and many visitors plan to return.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Really liked the site, there where lots of walks and lakes/ponds the woods where nice to take dog a walk which led onto a public bridleway which took you into Ancaster. The was a couple of parks for the kids to play on which were great
Disliked Didn't like the showers in the respect of the button for the water dispenser lasted all of 5 seconds and off again the toilets were grim at times and we also felt the woodys bar was expensive for drinks and the new yr entry was absolutely disgusting

Liked Everything. The whole place was so peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Great staff from the bar staff to the fabulous Bill.
He helped us out way beyond his normal duties. We couldn't get the van going, he brought jump leads, then tried a tow and wouldn't give up till he got us going. We couldn't thank him enough. We loved it. Woodys bar was great. So warm and cosy. Fabulous friendly, helpful staff.
