  • Peaceful site on a working family farm in rural Leicestershire
  • Five minutes' drive to Kilworth House Theatre; Foxton Locks 15 minutes
  • Easy access from the M1; village shop and pub a mile away
Shopping around for somewhere with lovely rural views for your Leicestershire break? Set your compass for Cote Hill Farm Stay, part of a working family farm about a mile from the village of Husbands Bosworth – on a clear day, the views from here stretch out for up to three miles. With a backdrop like that, and a setting where your nearest neighbours will be the cows in the next-door fields, this is a peaceful location indeed – just the thing for a bit of relaxation time for families, couples or small groups. You won’t be far from amenities and things to do, though – there are lots of canal paths, woodland walks and cycle trails around, and you’ll be close to attractions like Stanford Hall and Foxton Locks. Getting to and from the site should be straightforward enough, as the site is only about 10 minutes’ drive from the M1, via a journey that’s almost entirely on an A road. Lutterworth and Market Harborough are both about 10-15 minutes’ drive away for shops and other facilities, but if you don't fancy going that far, it’s handy to have a pub and a convenience store on hand in the local village too. Facilities on site include a washing-up area and a toilet block with showers. Barbecues are permitted if you’d like to try a bit of outdoor cooking.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Facilities were kept clean and safe. Campsite was quiet and small enough that our 4 year old could run around freely and still be safe. The site owner made themselves known, was lovely to chat to, and obviously takes great pride in their site management. Waking up to the sound and sight of sheep and cows in the adjoining field was a fantastic experience. It was far enough out of the way that it was very peaceful, but close enough to civilisation that we didn't feel isolated in an emergency.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Had a lovely stay here for a night in out tentbox. Ground is flat, gorgeous views and plenty of space. Toilets are clean and well looked after. Sheep and cows for the children to see. We will be back. We arrived late on Saturday evening and let ourselves in, owner came to say hello the following morning which was nice.

Disliked Nothing.
