  • Peaceful site on a working family farm in rural Leicestershire
  • Five minutes' drive to Kilworth House Theatre; Foxton Locks 15 minutes
  • Easy access from the M1; village shop and pub a mile away
Shopping around for somewhere with lovely rural views for your Leicestershire break? Set your compass for Cote Hill Farm Stay, part of a working family farm about a mile from the village of Husbands Bosworth – on a clear day, the views from here stretch out for up to three miles. With a backdrop like that, and a setting where your nearest neighbours will be the cows in the next-door fields, this is a peaceful location indeed – just the thing for a bit of relaxation time for families, couples or small groups. You won’t be far from amenities and things to do, though – there are lots of canal paths, woodland walks and cycle trails around, and you’ll be close to attractions like Stanford Hall and Foxton Locks. Getting to and from the site should be straightforward enough, as the site is only about 10 minutes’ drive from the M1, via a journey that’s almost entirely on an A road. Lutterworth and Market Harborough are both about 10-15 minutes’ drive away for shops and other facilities, but if you don't fancy going that far, it’s handy to have a pub and a convenience store on hand in the local village too. Facilities on site include a washing-up area and a toilet block with showers. Barbecues are permitted if you’d like to try a bit of outdoor cooking.

What customers say

This is a quiet, well-maintained small campsite on a farm, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors frequently praise the cleanliness of the facilities, the friendly and accommodating hosts, and the pleasant rural setting with farm animals nearby. It's considered good value for a relaxing getaway. Some minor suggestions include covered potash areas, and while generally well-received, there are only two toilets and one shower, which can occasionally lead to queues during peak times. Campfires are not permitted.

Shepherd's hut (ensuite)

Liked We were visiting a festival taking place in the village, the location was peaceful and perfect. We had a camping pitch and our friends had a Sheperd’s Hut which was amazing. Due to exceptionally bad weather on the one day we stayed in the Sheperd’s Hut nearly all day playing card games.
Carolynne was really kind and friendly, and even took time out to see if we were all okay and offered recommendations for the village. Thanks so much for having us, would definitely return.

Disliked Not a complaint! Facilities are on the basic side but you have everything you need!
