  • Spacious riverside campsite on a 250-acre hop and apple farm
  • A 20-minute drive from Tenbury Wells; half an hour from Worcester
  • On-site brewery for beers and fresh wood-fired pizzas; fishing lake
There's a lot of talk these days about cutting down your food miles and eating local, but what about drinking local too? If you're vigorously nodding your head by this point, have a look at Orleton Court Farm, a 250-acre hop and apple farm in the Worcestershire countryside where fine ales and lagers are brewed on site. If you like a chilled pint, stays at this spacious farm site will likely involve lengthy spells hanging out around the tap room (open from Friday to Sunday), where you can sample drinks made from the hops grown in the neighbouring fields. This foodie spot also does one of the meanest pizzas in the Teme Valley, with a wood-fired oven on hand to make every order extra crispy. Every Friday and Saturday night from 6pm to 8pm, there's also live music. Orleton Court Farm has more leisure facilities like an angling lake that's open to guests all day, every day (you can't catch your dinner here, though, as it's coarse fishing only). Any other points worth noting? Well, there's the web access, dog-friendly site rules and the fact that you're just over a mile and a half from the nearest butcher's if it’s barbecue weather. Mill Farm Country Retail Park, where there's a farm shop, is also two miles away by road (it’s slightly closer if you're on foot and opt for the shortcut by the river).

Teme-side non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: We loved everything about this site, there were plenty of different areas to pitch up, whether you wanted to be near a group of likeminded people, or in a quiet spot you had the choice. We absolutely loved the bar area with live music (as we went on a weekend) and was very impressed with the onsite pizza and waffle options. I would say this site seemed quite lively and if your visiting on a weekend there was many camps playing music until 2/3am but I doubt it would be like this in the week? All in All We LOVED IT here.

Disliked: nothing

Teme-side non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: The space, beautiful views, great pizza, nice beer, fire pit, friendly people, lots of longdrop toilets around the site which always had toilet paper. There was an Axe Man competition on the weekend we went which was entertaining. It was busy but the queues for the bar never got too long and the wait for pizza was short. Also live music in the evening

Disliked: Shower was cold, sign did say you could go and let them know but by that time you’re already in the shower so just coped with it

Teme-side non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: The site itself is in a great position. The river and lake were great for fishing with kids and being able to pitch up next to the water is ideal. The Bar and Pizzeria were great during the day and the atmosphere for the England game was fun. Staff were helpful.

Disliked: Music and drunk people from the bar carried on until the early hours of the morning and the Saturday and kept us awake. The toilet facilities are poor. There is a compost toilet, but wasn't ideal. The main toilets were in the bar area and were poorly maintained. Bins were overflowing and there was no hand soap for the whole weekend.

Teme-side non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Loved this place. Literally the best site we’ve been to in a while. If you want to be on a campsite with great people, food and loads of pitch options as well as feeling like your still really camping with out all the unnecessary bells and whistles and rules, this is for you. Laid back, beautiful and spot on.

Disliked: Nothing. Not a single thing to complain about.
