What customers say

This is a friendly, well-maintained working farm campsite with spacious, level pitches. Guests appreciate the proximity to the Malvern Hills and easy access to major routes. Facilities are generally clean and adequate, though some find them basic and in need of updating, particularly during busy periods. Farm animals are a highlight for many families. Some noise from the nearby M50 motorway is noted, but most find it unobtrusive.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Convenient to the highway

Disliked Small pitches - although it was very quiet so this was not an issue for us
Rain water had got into some electric connections
Rubbish bin was very very full

From the manager: Hi there we have had some torrential rain.

Did you report any issues as the signs say.?

Glad you are very much in minority.

One thing we can't resolve is the weather.

Best wishes for the future

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Very friendly hosts and a well kept site, easy access to the facilities which are all kept clean and tidy. Odd farm vehicle rolled past every now and then, some cows mooed, no bother to us really and rather added to the working farm vibe. The kids enjoyed the trip including going and seeing the farm animals too.

Disliked Nothing to dislike here, we had an awesome time :)

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Very friendly and quiet site. Just hum of m50 in distance but not too intrusive. Very convenient for overnight stops on way south and facilities good. Will use again.

Disliked Dogs a bit expensive £5 each.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Some farm animals to see

Disliked You are required to call them once arrived and just told where to go over the phone. No one showed us where we could pitch or where the faculties were. The ground was a little bumpy. There very few toilets and showers so people had to queue. The ones that were there were not in a good state. Water backs up in the showers. They are not that clean. Facilities were poor.

We wonder if following applied...

Wrong site.

Did you report any problems as per signage....?

Or were you simply in a mood and having a bad day ?

Did you read any other reviews ?

PLEASE dont come again even if everywhere is full!!

Electric grass pitch

Liked Everything. The location, the simplicity, people were so friendly!
Our two girls, 4 & 2 loved having the animals so close. Both were able to stoke the different animals. Lovely touch of selling sausages and eggs in the morning.
All facilities were kept to a high standard.

Disliked Slight downside as we pitched close to entrance having three small children the footfall was at times slightly more noisy that we would have liked. However no one’s fault. Just we didn’t think when agreeing to that particular pitch. Next time will ask to be further in.

From the manager: So pleased you had a good time.

Electric grass pitch

Liked What a weekend absolutely loved the site.. Everything we needed was there...Camping on a working farm and got to see the animals.. The site was lovely.. Owners were polite we even bought produce from them.. Special mention to jen she looked tired from working but was a lovely lady.. The m50 wasn't a problem like previous reviews...would I go back? Hell yes and can't wait to return btw pizza's during busy times a good idea. 😉

Disliked Had so little time and break went fast.. Pubs a good walk but a car really is needed being no paths on the roads.. In no way should this be a dislike to the campsite

Local attractions

Set out for a recce of the Malvern Hills (five minutes' drive) and it shouldn't take long to find a spot to stretch your legs. Hollybush car park (10 minutes) is a pretty good place to start – here there are two scenic circular trails that can also be walked as a figure of eight if you're feeling energetic. It’s also half an hour to Symonds Yat for kayaking on the Wye, climbing and seeking out the peregrine falcons, goshawks and other raptors that breed on top of the rock. The Gloucester branch of the National Waterways Museum (30 minutes) is within a comfortable distance too if you'd prefer interactive exhibits and a narrowboat cruise. You'll likely want to be outdoors as much as poss when in these parts, so earmark some time for visits to Eastnor (10 minutes) and Goodrich castles (25 minutes). Trips over the border into Wales should also be on your radar if you're tempted to explore the overgrown ruins of Grosnor Castle (45 minutes), the handsome market town of Abergavenny (50 minutes) or the Brecon Beacons National Park (from 45 minutes).
