Liked Enjoyed a lovely stay at Baldwin's Brook. A peaceful location, well situated to access surrounding areas. Pod was lovely and warm on arrival, and cosy to stay in, with everything we needed.

Newton camping pod

Liked Lovely quiet place.Nice and clean pod. We stayed in the Newton Pod.Stunning view of the river and nice touches with the tea and coffee ideal after a long drive. We enjoyed the fire pit and was wonderful to spend quality family time.

Thankyou James & Poppy for a nice peaceful break.

Newton camping pod

Liked Absolutely fantastic stay, James the owner was very friendly and helped us with all our questions on fishing and local places to visit.

The cabin was beautiful, very comfy stay. Everything you needed in one pod! Fire wood provided at an excellent price!

We will definitely be returning

Liked A fantastic new site, stayed in one of the two person pods, really cosy, well equipped & everything you need.
Lovely views across the river severn and two great pubs within walking distance. James came out of his way to visit.

Disliked Nothing to mention apart from the weather & even James couldn't fix that :-(

Liked Fantastic site , neat, clean, views great , peaceful. James came and said Hi when we arrived , we had a lovely chat. Both pubs nearby , both nice . We had a lovely stay. We nosed in the windows of tge glamping pods and they were spotless and really sweet. Would recommend.

Bramley camping pod

Liked Lovely clean and well equipped pod. This is a peaceful location, which was ideal for our needs. Our friends had a motorhome pitch next to us. There was a large field for our dogs to run around in. We all had a very enjoyable time and met the owner, James, a lovely young man. We can recommend the Anchor restaurant for good well priced food and very friendly staff.

Liked Lovely quiet site beside the river. It was an ideal spot for my husband and I, and our two dogs. Our friends and dog stayed in the glamping pod. James, the owner came and introduced himself… very friendly and likeable young man. We had dinner at the Anchor restaurant, a couple of nights, and can thoroughly recommend!

Disliked Not a massive fan of awnings on hard standing. I know many sites do this but hard standing under caravan only with grass under awning is far superior.

Want to swap the countryside for the city? Cheltenham (half an hour’s drive) hosts the Cheltenham races, but its Regency architecture, museums and Victorian Everyman Theatre make it a great stop even when there's no racing on. Gloucester (20 minutes) also has some fantastic spots, from the 11th-century cathedral to the historic Gloucester docks. If you’re not finished wildlife watching, keep your eyes peeled for kingfishers and oystercatchers at WWT Slimbridge (20 minutes) or head to Birdland Park & Gardens (50 minutes). For families, Cattle Country Farm Park (20 minutes) is a local farm park with family-friendly attractions like play barns, a boating lake, a farmyard and miniature golf. Head north to get to the Forest of Dean (45 minutes) for stunning walks and bicycle trails, as well as other attractions like the underground museum at the Clearwell Caves (55 minutes) and the Puzzlewood (55 minutes) attraction. For yet more stunning scenery, Westonbirt, The National Arboretum (half an hour) has plant species from all around the world.
