Craving a peaceful time filled with wildlife watching, long walks and relaxing by the water? On the banks of the River Severn and part of a working family farm with lots of livestock, Baldwin’s Brook Glamping in Gloucestershire fits the bill. This small site is a wildlife haven adjacent to the Severn Way, a long-distance trail that traces the river downstream. Birdwatching prospects are excellent here, and there’s plenty of peace if you’d rather sit and relax by a firepit or check out the stunning views and sunsets. From the farm, it’s a 45-minute walk to Frampton on Severn, which is home to the longest village green in England and the lively Frampton Country Fair (think funfair… and 400 stalls full of good stuff). Baldwin’s Brook Glamping is also half an hour’s walk away from the Cotswold Canal Trust Visitor Centre by the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal if you’d like to take a boat trip or sip a coffee by the canal. When you'd rather have a chilled beer, two pubs are within half a mile of the site (only 10 minutes’ walk away). Strike up a conversation with a local about the next Severn Bore, the huge tidal wave that races for 25 miles from Awre to Gloucester down the estuary just a handful of times per year. If you feel you haven’t done quite enough walking yet, the 102-mile Cotswold Way can be tracked down about 15 to 20 minutes’ drive away from the site; it passes by Berkeley Castle, which is otherwise a 20-minute drive away.

Liked Loved this place- perfect for motorhomes or caravans with own facilities looking for an overnight stop. Peaceful, small and everything you need on your own pitch.

Disliked Would of been nice to be able to walk beside the river but it was gated off.

Bramley camping pod

Liked Everything 🥰 the pod had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was so picturesque. Poppy, the owner, was helpful and such a lovely bubbley person

Liked Lovely peaceful site, great sunrises and sunsets, and views of the River Severn and beyond. James and Poppy who run it are very friendly and helpful.

Great walks along the Severn Way from both nearby pubs (2min drive or 10-15min walk to each) and easy to reach much of the Cotswolds scenery by car from site.

No shower or toilet facilities (as advertised) but what you do get is a generously sized fully serviced pitch.

Liked The perfect little campsite in a lovely location. very close to the Severn walk way which is just down the road. Two pubs in walking distance also. Drinking water on pitch with bins & toilet empty by the gate.
A very quiet & peaceful site which is purfect.
The owners James & Poppy were friendly & helpful.

Disliked Nothing to dislike at this location.

Liked Peaceful, dog exercise area, picnic table, water and electrics on pitch.

Disliked No facilities (I knew there would be no toilet or shower) however there wasn't even a bin, so had to take rubbish, even dog poo bags off site to find a bin.
