Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Last minute we booked to stay here over the may bank holiday weekend. The camp called before the stay to advise the pitch was small and we were a group of 6. Went for it anyway and so glad we did. The pitch size was more than adequate, the site was clean and tidy. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and suitable. I was aware the site was located by the M5 and train track and this was fine, noise wasn't to bad.

Disliked Whilst this site was clean and tidy and suitable for short stays, I wouldn't advise for longer than a few days. There is a pub next to the site which is where the park was located. The sites location is also a a little out of the way.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Lovely pitches, nice small site, well located, clean facilities. I also could not feel any more welcomed, safe or looked out for than I was by the wonderful woman who runs the place. Absolutely going to return!

Disliked Train noise from the nearby tracks may be unwelcome to some people but I found it soothing!

What customers say

This is a clean and well-maintained campsite with friendly staff, particularly praised warden Nikki. Pitches are spacious and level, with well-kept, spotless toilet and shower facilities. The adjacent Pepper Pot pub offers good food and drinks. While some guests noted noise from the nearby M5 and railway line, most found it minimal and didn't detract from their stay. Security is good, with coded gates. The site is convenient for exploring local attractions.

From the manager: Many thanks for your review. Just for information guests are able to access the caravan park through the pub car park when the main gate is closed. Parking is also available in the pub car park overnight.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Nice big pitches
Toilets and showers were clean.

Disliked The welcoming wasn’t too friendly.
The pub staff were inconvenienced having to serve with over priced warm drinks when they eventually came behind the bar to serve.
Noisy road, noisy campers late into the night.
