Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Last minute we booked to stay here over the may bank holiday weekend. The camp called before the stay to advise the pitch was small and we were a group of 6. Went for it anyway and so glad we did. The pitch size was more than adequate, the site was clean and tidy. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and suitable. I was aware the site was located by the M5 and train track and this was fine, noise wasn't to bad.

Disliked Whilst this site was clean and tidy and suitable for short stays, I wouldn't advise for longer than a few days. There is a pub next to the site which is where the park was located. The sites location is also a a little out of the way.

What customers say

This is a compact, friendly, and well-maintained site, praised for its cleanliness, spacious pitches, and helpful staff, particularly site manager Nikki. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are consistently described as spotless. The on-site pub/cafe is a popular addition, offering good food and a welcoming atmosphere. While located close to the M5 and railway line, most guests found the noise minimal and non-disruptive. Easy access from the motorway makes it a convenient stopover location.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Pitches were a nice size

Disliked Dog poo around the front of our pitch where people walked.
Dirty toilets
.
Google and pitch up directions took us to a service road on the services, rang the site and the lady was very unhelpful and challenged of we were reading Google maps properly!
Very unhelpful and frankly rude staff.
Left a day early due to what was mentioned.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Small site easily accessed from the M5. Good sized pitch. Clean showers and toilets. Had all the facilities we needed.

Disliked Showers had no temperature control and given the weather was very hot I'd have preferred a cooler shower.
Our pitch was next to the entrance and the cctv beeps! We thought it was one of our alarms and took out all the batteries. Very annoying.

Liked The whole campsite was lovely.

Disliked Only problem was that the pub is now a "Bistro Cafe" and closes at 5pm - thus no evening meals.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Well kept site with plenty of space, peacefully even though its close to the motorway.
The beautiful weather helped !!

Disliked We came here last year and loved it. Standards do seem to have slipped in the toilets/showers definitely not as clean as they were.
Very disappointed the the pub was only really open in the day and everything had to be pre-booked.
Not sure if we will come again now.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked The site manager Nikky was very helpful and the toilet / shower block was very clean and tidy.

Disliked Road noise from the motorway may put some people off.
It was a pity that the pub was not open for evening meals but was popular with customers for breakfasts.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Nice Cafe Restaurant on site. Pitch was good size, quiet caravan park, clean toilet and shower facilities.

Disliked Only two toilets and two showers for women and the same for men to cover the whole caravan park. Shower kept turning off every 20 seconds and toilet lights go out after a couple of minutes then you are left in the dark to finish.
