Liked Friendly staff, nice clean toilet/ shower facilities
It would be good value for just a one night stop over enroute to elsewhere

Disliked Very isolated, not within walking distance of any amenities. We knew this but booked it anyway as it advertised the onsite Pepperpot pub serving hot food and drinks. However, on arrival we were informed this was closed which was very disappointing. We were also informed if you go off site in your vehicle you are unable to get back in after 10pm as the gate is locked until morning .

Pitch surfaces seemed to be non compacted road plannings creating an unsuitable surface.

It was a shame the site seemed to be also used for some caravan storage opposite our pitch which kind of spoiled the ambience . We left after one night.

Disliked Next to railway line, trains every 15 minutes.Next to motorway. Pub closed unlikely advertised. Had to then drive to a supermarket for a 4 pack and a coop meal deal. Not the best site. Two toilets and sinks. Had to wipe the toilets before use.

* Pitch easy to find/well signed.

Disliked * Definitely more suited to caravan/RV/Tent boxes etc than tents.
* You can see and hear the motorway which wasn’t great but you did get used to it.

Liked Showers and Toilet block were clean
Area inside to wash cutlery etc

Disliked Pub was closed due to an electrical fault - An email pre-warning us would have been nice, as was told it had been closed for a few days.
Barrier was locked at 10pm and unlocked at 7am
Road onsite was gravel, therefore when people drove round dust would churn up. Not good when your sat outside by your area eating / drinking. Although the speed limit was 5mph, it was still dusty as people drove past.
Waste area was full and bins overflowing.
Pictures are deceiving, site is smaller than expected.
There is noise from the motorway, more noticeable at night - didn't keep us awake.

The Pepper Pot Caravan Park is in a decent spot to use as a base for exploring Gloucestershire and its surrounds, particularly for those who like their wildlife or historic homes. Two golf clubs are within a quick drive, the Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club two and a half miles away and the Cotswold Edge Golf Club within five. Also within a short drive are Berkeley Castle and the Vale of Berkeley (two and a half miles) and the Cattle Country Adventure Park (two miles) for yee-haw adventuring. Wildlife types have the River Severn Estuary and the Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust to explore within six and seven miles respectively, with more species to see at Oldown Country Park eight miles away; wildfowl and other critters along the nearby Gloucester to Sharpness Canal, and Dean Forest and the Wye Valley 11 miles from base. More into historic homes, local history or greenery? Take your Pepper Pot pick from the National Trust's Woodchester Mansion and park or Westbury Court Gardens (seven and 11 miles); Chavenage House and the National Arboretum at Westonbirt (both ten miles), or the National Waterways Museum at Gloucester Docks 16 miles away.
