What customers say

This eco-friendly campsite offers a peaceful, back-to-nature experience with beautiful countryside views. Guests praise the friendly staff, well-stocked farm shop, and the 'leave no trace' ethos. Facilities are basic but clean, including compost toilets and woodland showers. Campervan pitches are noted as having less scenic views than tent pitches. Some guests found the eco-toilets and showers challenging, and rubbish disposal requires visitors to take waste home. Check-in times are strictly enforced.

Green Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Great simple campsite well placed for exploring The Cotswolds or kicking back in nature. Simple but clean compost loo's and warm showers. Lovely views and 5 minute walk through a wood to a great farm shop/cafe, whats not to love!

Green Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Really helpful and friendly staff, super clear instructions on where the campsite was and where facilities are located

Gorgeous on-site cafe with very nice coffee and pastries, cooked food looked amazing too! And ofcourse the farm shop has all kinds of locally sourced produce from the farm itself, amazing place & decour!

The pitch was nice and level, plenty of space to choose from, and a really nice view of the fields.

Really loved this campsite, will definitely be back again ❤️

Green Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked The no-waste ethos and proximity to the brilliant Organic Farm Shop (a firm fave) via a footpath through the trees. The site is quiet, simple and green.

Green Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Quiet flat site, peaceful place to stay. Nice view over the valley.
Very much ‘back to basics’ as advertised, so need to be self contained.

Green Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked What an excellent pitch! Easy check in. Great facilities & amazing location & great price! The views from the compost loos alone are worth it! Great facilities-I'll be back for longer next time. And the owner popped by to check all was well on departure too.

Green Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked A lovely quiet area with a lovely view. The farm shop was gorgeous, as was the staff, food and products. I will definitely be returning and recommending. We had a lovely wholesome weekend.

Disliked The showers where either scorching hot or freezing cold.. but was not bothered as it’s camping so that’s what’s it’s all about.

Green Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked One night stay in my campervan whilst on a course in Cirencester. Perfectly flat pitches and park where you like within the field. You do have to register before the shop shuts and get gate codes but you can come and go as you please after that.
Nice little 25 minute walking route marked around the fields was a nice way to stretch my legs. Showers were partially enclosed so you’d have to be hardier than me to shower on a cold day, otherwise all good, simple, no frills. back to nature. A lower hedge on the North side of the van field would be great for the views but I get that the wildlife comes first. All good, thank you.

Local attractions

Keen to explore the area on two wheels? Rent a bicycle from Cotswold eBikes on site, and set off down quiet rural roads to pretty villages built of mellow stone in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (20 minutes’ ride). If you’ve got kids on board, make for the lakeside beach and floating inflatables at Cotswold Country Park and Beach (40 minutes), or let them burn off more energy on paddleboards and kayaks at Lake 32 Outdoor Centre (35 minutes). When only cuddling animals will do, it’s time to head to Cotswold Farm Park (35 minutes’ drive), to bottle-feed lambs, baby goats and piglets, see rare-breed farm animals and take tractor rides. In search of a bit of Cotswolds history? You’ll find it among the fourth-century AD Roman ruins at Chedworth Roman Villa (25 minutes’ drive), where you can admire ornate floor mosaics and the Roman version of central heating. If your interest is piqued, you can see more local Roman finds at the Corinium Museum (10 minutes), which has fine displays of sculpture, mosaics and jewellery.
