This is a small, quiet, adults-only touring site behind The Chequers Inn. Pitches are spacious, level, hardstanding with gravel and include a picnic table. The pub offers excellent food (booking advised) and a friendly atmosphere. Toilets are in the pub and accessible 24/7. The site is well-maintained, clean, and dog-friendly, with good local walks. Liked Wonderful small touring site. The adjacent Pub food was excellent and the owner was very helpful. Very quiet excellent level pitches with plenty of room to back onto.
Disliked Having to book food before 12 on the day you wanted to eat was a pain. I would definitely used it more as I didn’t know if I was going to need food depending on what I’d done during the day.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Stayed one night as a stop-off for a longer journey. For a small site there were large pitches with space between them. It was very well kept. Behind a pub with gated entrance gave the feel of a secure site. Couple of pubs on your doorstep.
Disliked No-one from site around to ask for information.

Disliked No showers on site but not a problem (very clean toilets open 24 hrs).
