What customers say

This peaceful, no-frills campsite offers stunning panoramic views and direct access to the Tissington and High Peak Trails, ideal for walkers and cyclists. Pitches are spacious, and the site is well-maintained. While there are no toilet or shower facilities, fresh water and chemical disposal are available. Visitors consistently praise the friendly and accommodating owner, the quiet atmosphere, and the convenient location close to Buxton and Bakewell. Some mention the field can be sloping, requiring levelling aids. Overall, it's highly recommended for a relaxing escape immersed in nature.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked A really beautiful site with views all around, the owner was super friendly and visited in the evening to empty bins and make sure we were all ok.
Right on the Tissington trail you can see the trail from the campsite which is super handy! We cycled to tissington via the trail lots of lovely little cafes around and the trail is a great easy route.
Very peaceful and picturesque would definitely visit again.
