What customers say
A peaceful, back-to-basics spot with stunning Peak District views. Direct access to the Tissington Trail perfect for walkers/cyclists. Reviewers love the friendly owner, spacious pitches, and great value. Basic facilities, but guests appreciate the simplicity. Mind the entrance and potentially uneven ground after rain.

Liked Quiet and scenery was beautiful. Owner is so kind also. Myself and partner stayed here for a couple of nights. The sunsets were just unreal and the views were brilliant. It is very basic but that did not matter to us at all it had everything we needed. Lovely walks on Tissington trail. Would definitely be going back

Liked Stayed in: Touring pitch (campervan)
A fantastic peaceful campsite with stunning views across the Peak District. During my stay I had the whole site to myself, which made it feel even more special and relaxing.
The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The site is well maintained, tidy and in a beautiful location.
Access to the Tissington Trail is directly from the campsite. There are a couple of steps through the gate which made getting my electric trike through a little awkward, but it was certainly manageable and well worth it once on the trail.
I stayed with my three dogs and found it an excellent base for exploring the area. The views from the campsite are outstanding, especially in the evenings, and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for.
I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet countryside escape in a beautiful part of Derbyshire.
