Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lots of space and stunning views. Just a short walk down the hill and you are on the Tissington trail and it is just a few metres from the junction with the high peak trail. Really good that you can arrive and leave at any time during the day as it means you can get the most out of an overnight stop.
The owner was really friendly, and went out of their way to fetch me a phone charge lead from their house when mine wouldn’t work. I will definitely be visiting again.
Disliked Just be aware that the sat nav takes you to the farmhouse, not the entrance to the campsite. There is a CL site across from the farmhouse, that is not the right place. You have to keep travelling north from the house and the entrance is a few hundred metres further on. It’s quite a fast and busy road which can be a bit tricky as the sign is only small.

Skegness, Lincolnshire, England
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Really good sized fully service pitches.
Very friendly and helpful site manager.
Clean shower/ toilet facilities.
You do need 50p for the shower which we didn’t realise before we went but the showers are really good and lasts for more than enough time to have a long shower.
