What customers say
This is a peaceful, adult-only campsite known for its exceptionally large and private pitches, often surrounded by conifers or hedges. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and dog walking, with numerous country walks nearby. While there are no toilet or shower facilities, pitches benefit from water and electricity. The on-site cafe and nearby pubs are frequently praised. Some visitors note the site appears a little run-down and could benefit from general maintenance and clearer signage.

Fantastic little gem of a site.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked What a fantastic little gem of a site this was. We thoroughly enjoyed this site as it had everything we enjoy and look for. So peaceful, lovely big pitch which was very private, with the added bonus of the stunning lakes and superb cafe.. yes there’s no toilet block or showers but honestly it didn’t bother us , as we went prepared. We actually would’ve loved to stay another night. We will deffo be back and will take advantage of the fishing.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked This site has huge secluded pitches with water available at the dedicated power point. It's located in a quite village with some excellent pubs and great access to the Peaks. I can't believe it wasn't full in August!
Disliked The elsan point has been upgraded (thank you) but the security bolt is virtually impossible to use (for an old codger anyway).

Lovely site, will stay again when we’re next that way.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely site and great location. Pitches are very private with plenty of space. Adults only.
Disliked The Elsan disposal is a fair trek from the pitch I was on and mostly over gravel or grass. It would be nice to have a toilet but you are made aware that there are no facilities, just a lot of tracking to the chemical toilet disposal point.
