What customers say
This quiet, adult-only site is highly praised for its exceptionally large, private pitches, each with water and electricity. Guests appreciate the peaceful countryside setting, proximity to local pubs and cafes, and excellent walking routes. While the lack of on-site facilities, including a functioning amenity block, is noted as a drawback by some, many find the privacy and spaciousness compensate for this, with some indicating a desire for improved maintenance and signage.

A lovely site with great pitches and environment, will be back.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked A little gem of a site, spacious pitches, with a seclusion effect for privacy with hedges. With access to the fishing lakes and cafe a lovely walk in the stunning countryside. Good communication from the site in relation to access and facilities.

Level private plots which were pitch perfect!
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked In spite of gale force winds and torrential overnight rain, I felt safe and sheltered on my pitch as a lone female traveller.
Loved the privacy each pitch offered. Nice walks around the lakes. Excellent directions via text took me straight to the site.

Spacious pitches … biggest we’ve been…
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Spacious pitches … biggest we’ve been on. Very private pitches too. Great area to explore eg Curber Edge, Chatsworth, Padley Gorge etc. Remember your NT card if you’re a member as lots of parking is NT.
Tickled Trout a lovely walk 10 mins walk from the site.
Disliked Be sure to receive directions directly from the site owners before arrival as the approach is different to the google maps route as stated by Pitch-Up and can become an issue due to restricted access, then the need to back track … this was not easy with a caravan.

If you like your privacy it's perfect.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Privacy, nearness to The Tickled Trout Pub
Disliked Overgown trees on the pitch, which is a bit narrow and you end up muddy. Security lock on the gate from 6pm which is covered in oil and in total darkness.
