What customers say
This adults-only campsite in a beautiful Peak District location receives consistent praise for its stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly owner, Steve. Pitches are generally well-sized and kept. Basic but clean facilities, including hot showers and a pot-washing area, are frequently mentioned. A nearby pub and excellent walking routes are also popular. Some guests noted occasional issues with shower temperature or toilet cleanliness, though manager responses suggest improvements and clarifications.

Delightful campsite. Would go back to again.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Really relaxed and calm campsite. Well-maintained and looked after.
The views on offer are delightful, but then again we are blessed to be so close to such beautifully undulating landscapes.
The facilities are eco-minded and more than adequate. Expect a visit from the roaming chickens, who are friendly little dudes.
Plenty of local walks nearby, lots of cows so be aware if you’re a dog owner.
Particular highlight are the two local pubs, one being 200m from the campsite and the other a 15-20minute walk. Both are definitely worth a visit.
The locals are really friendly and farmers more than happy to point you in the right direction should you need some advice.
