What customers say
This is a friendly, family-run farm campsite with a lovely rural feel, featuring a fishing pond and a popular farm shop selling local produce. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, spacious pitches, and the welcoming staff. While glamping pods and shepherd's huts are well-equipped and cosy, some campers noted that pitches can be uneven. Facilities are basic but generally adequate, though cleanliness has been an intermittent issue. The site is well-located for exploring local attractions.

Relaxed and easy going. We commented how nice it was finding a campsite not plastered with signs and rules !

Nice Easy Campsite
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Great campsite with plenty of space. Added bonus that you could grab a coffee/ice cream once pitched up in the afternoon. Cute farm animals which you can get up close to and feed (goat food available at the cafe, but is very limited). Will return once cooking bans have been lifted.
Disliked Downside to us what that the small cafe doesn’t open until 11am (which is quite late when check out is 10am) and we would have loved a hot drink when we got up before packing up and leaving for 10am. We had supplies to make our own but was told that absolutely no cooking on any appliance was allowed following the government warning for fire risk. So we couldn’t eat any of our food/ have our own hot drinks during our stay, which ended up costing us even more money having to go and get more food which didn’t need cooking/already cooked. We were happy with the rules as god forbid a fire started, but for some strange reason other campers were still cooking?? Not quite sure why some were allowed and others were not. Seems risky and unfair. Also more goat food availability for the children would be lovely, as we they had sold out by 5pm so the children missed out on that.

Would highly recommend for family friendly, quiet and rural, camping
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked I liked that it was a quiet site and able to choose own pitch. Very friendly staff on arrival. Great facilities - simple but just what you need - showers , toilet and washing up facilities. Lovely family friendly feeling although I was solo female camper. I chose the site to be near my family and will definitely return in future. Fellow campers were friendly and felt very safe.
Also fabulous farm shop with excellent local butchers and 10% off for campers- marvellous 🤩
