Questo campeggio agricolo offre una fuga tranquilla con personale cordiale e disponibile. Apprezzati i grandi spazi, il negozio ben fornito con prodotti locali e la pesca in loco. Pod e capanne comodi e ben attrezzati. Nonostante il rumore della strada e qualche miglioramento nella pulizia, l'esperienza è molto positiva, con molti che tornerebbero.

Shower and wash facilities were ok.

Mi è piaciuto We stayed here for 1 night but could have stayed the whole weekend we loved it that much! All the staff were lovely and very helpful, we couldn’t fault it one bit! The Hereford pod was immaculate and we had everything we needed! We will definitely be booking to stay there again.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site on a farm, with friendly owners who also run a farm shop and coffee/ice cream stall. The pod was comfortable and warm, and had everything needed to make a simple meal. Round the clock hot water and comfy outdoor furniture on the private terrace were two outstanding features, along with the goats and alpacas for entertainment! Parking was right behind the pod, so no lugging stuff over long distances, and the toilet/shower block was not far away. I was lucky with the weather and had two fantastic days. It's a working farm and fairly close to the road so don't expect complete silence, but I found it peaceful and really enjoyed the view from my front door. Excellent value and a really great stay, with castles, stately homes, caves and country parks very nearby.
Non mi è piaciuto I was lucky enough to have the site to myself as the only camper. It could have been a very different experience if the next door pod had been occupied as it was very close - although not directly overlooked, we would definitely have heard each other. The owners run a bar on weekend nights and that, too, would be easily heard from the pod. Check before booking if this is likely to be an issue for you. The toilets and showers are unisex, which may bother some people, though there is one separate toilet cubicle with a full door and sink/bin inside if privacy is a concern.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely loved our weekend away here. My son fished most of the time. There a butchers icecream burgers van. Local Tesco. Fishing bait shop 3 minutes away. Toilet and shower block. Pub on site. Going to book again soon

Pod Angus
Mi è piaciuto We had a fantastic two-night stay at the lodge and couldn’t have asked for more. The lodge was perfect — cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was really well insulated, which made it lovely and warm, and the TV was a great added touch.
Outside, the fire pit and seating area were perfect for relaxing in the evenings and really added to the experience. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
The onsite ice cream parlour was fantastic, as was the butchers, and the fishing lake was excellent — the perfect way to top off our stay. We also loved being able to go and feed the lovely animals onsite.
Everything was clean and well maintained, including the toilet facilities. Overall, a brilliant little getaway with everything you could need. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!
