Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked I liked that the campsite is large and has an amazing 360 view when you get up on the morning.
Disliked The only downside is lack of shower. Even just a cold outdoor shower attached to toilet block.

Great place and would definitely return
Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Good, quiet location. Easy to find, though narrow road up the campsite. About 15 min walk into Castleton. No noise experienced on site after 10pm. Nice little touch with the “honesty box” supplies with sweets/chocolate/crisps & drinks.
Sufficient toilet role supplies and toilets kept clean.
Disliked No point of contact when we arrived so wasn’t sure if we could just pitch up where we wanted. This appears to be the case and we found a suitable
Spot. Someone came around later in the evening to check us in. Maybe needs more toilets/pot washing space as I noticed big queues in the morning and late evening.

Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Excellent location, walkable position to the local shops and pubs etc. in Castleton. perfect for hiking in the local area. Beautiful spot! Nice modern toilet facilities and area for washing up. The little tuck shop with honesty box is a nice touch.
Disliked Slight slope on the field but we managed to find a level spot, other people in vans used levelling ramps. Just something to bare in mind and definitely not a criticism as this is the peak district so it is to be expected.

Lovely site , would recommend and visit again!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked It was a lovely campsite , perfect setting with lots to do around the campsite at a short walk, toilet blocks were clean and owner was friendly and open to help with any issues
Disliked It was disappointing that the campsite was advertised as a quite campsite specifically saying no music at all , the owner was thoughtful and helpful and this was out of her control but others ruin the beauty of nature with music on all day no considering other campers , still 10/10 as this wasn't the sites fault
