Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Very friendly clean site. Easy to walk round the fishing lake and watch the fishers. Clean toilets, showers and washing areas. Little playground for the kids

Disliked: Not a dislike, but more of an awareness that as you are near to Donnington there maybe a low humming of noise coming from that area. Did not bother us.
Nicely situated between Ashby and Melbourne but nowhere nearby, off site, to walk to without going on the fast main road.
No wifi, did not bother us and will be put in at some point.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: It is a nice setting very picturesque and well locate it.

Disliked: I'm often struck in my interactions with others just how quickly some people revert to ugly behavior.

Do the insecure and the week among us still believe that resorting to physical intimidation is still a valid form of communication?

As was the case of these two dafties, the screaming into my face only inches away was probably made worse by the fact that I was not intimidated by him. In fact my calm and measured response in suggestions of the many alternative ways in dealing with disagreements seemingly made things worse for him.

Maybe some anger management classes might help him to deal with his insecurities.

It is often the people or the politics that stand in the way of an otherwise great product.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: We were pitched between two lakes really nice views

Disliked: Being told by the owner to stop using anymore electric because we had used to much even though we booked a serviced pitch

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi

As discussed at check in you receive £7 per night with the booking which is included we have a fair usage policy on electric as it is now £0.51 per KPH plus vat plus climate levy which the government takes from small business i do not pass the VAT or climate levy charges onto the customer ,you used £25.50 in electric in 24 hours on site and i pointed this out to you's it flagged up on my system as over outage i did not asked for more payment which i was in my rights to do so as you exceed the £7 limit .

you booked on pitch up for a electric grass touring pitch you was allowed to upgrade to a fully serviced pitch with a lake view .you had electric heater on constantly for the whole duration of your stay with the skylight fully open because you were to hot .This is just very poor manners and bluntly flouting the site rules .you also sneaked off on the last day of your stay without revisiting reception to confirm how much you had overspent on the electric .

We are ruining a business that has endured very high running costs in the passed two years for power and water ,please do not book if you will not be fair with these policies ,you cannot charge electric vehicles when booked onto a pitch ,this is theft you would not fill your car with petrol and not pay for it at the counter ,I can count over ten instances where customers plug there vehicles in ,this is not acceptable .if you are caught doing this you will be asked to leave the site ,this is theft and will not be tolerated .

please do not book if you will not obey the site rules and have no manners .

From the manager: Hi that is the amount of electric you used you had the heating on for three days and nights and wi th h the cost I paid for power I can’t afford to stand the cost any more
All pitches get £6 of electric with each booking if you exceed that there is a charge for the extra power consumed.all coustomers are informed of this on arrival it is not hidden if you don’t use it you don’t have to pay for it

Kind regards springwood
