What customers say
Beautiful, tranquil site praised for friendly owners, spotless washrooms & fishing. Great for exploring, but expect some aircraft/road noise. Limited showers/toilets noted.

Liked View of the lake was nice.
Disliked Dog poo all around the pitch area, showers need updating, no waste bins close by, very noisy road next to the pitch.

From the manager: Good afternoon
Sorry you experienced some dog mess I looked all over the pitch and just found some paper bags ,the shower cannot be built in brick only wooden structures are allowed on the planning permission.the shower and toilets are cleaned twice a day as for the waste bins we only have recycling now same as the domestic environment which was all situated at the main gate as you departed
Kind regards
Ian

Liked That it was a small site and the welcome we got, advice on where we could get something to eat after a long drive, lots of things to do in the surrounding areas
Disliked toilet and showers could do with an upgrade, it is under the flightpath of the airport nearby, getting out of the site can be tricky with a campervan as cars drive fast.

Disliked Toilets and showers inadequate. One toilet was blocked nothing was done about it so clearly not cleaned regularly.

From the manager: Sorry that one of the six toilets was blocked on site a child toy had blocked the pipe and we had to wait two hours before they arrived as it was a Sunday to remove toilet to gain access
The other two toilets blocks were not affected
Kind regards
