Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: A nice quiet site with a well-maintained children's play area and plenty of space for us to set up our tent.
Disliked: The toilet blocks ran out of toilet paper and it wasn't replaced. They started clean and gradually got dirtier over the course of the weekend, so I'd suggest they weren't being checked / cleaned daily.
Some road noise starting quite early in the morning.
We got a nice level (unpowered grass) pitch, but our friends had a powered grass pitch which was extremely sloped and uneven.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Close to Matlock bath and Buxton for days out with the kids. Nice quiet site. Shop was okay, staff were friendly.
Disliked: Toilets clearly had a drainage issue with women’s toilets door being propped open. No attended to clean or re-stock the toilets the whole bank holiday weekend. By Sunday there was no hand soap or toilet roll. Plus the fact they hadn’t been cleaned for the 4 days we were there. Claimed to have WiFi but didn’t reach where we were staying but not a major issue.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Great stay. Staff were extremely friendly and the facilities were well kept. Just had issues finding the water tap so had to ask staff in the sales office to fill up our bottles. It seems we weren't the only people who had this issue. Perfect location, close to Bakewell and some great trails

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: The facilities were clean and plenty of them. Staff were friendly on check in. Nice location for good walks.
Disliked: The ground is too stoney to properly pitch a tent, lots of stones/ hard layer 2 inches below grass which made it challenging to pitch. Had to bend pegs over to secure it. Was fine for the mild weather we had but in high winds it would have been more of a concern

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked: We actually can't say we did like anything, apart for the location to travel to near by Buxton and Ashbourne.
Disliked: When we arrived we was greeted at arrivals which is in the shop, the lady was pleasant but wasn't knowledgeable of the local area, or where the closest pub was. We pitched our tent which was on a slope, this made it difficult. And everything in the tent sloped, which made it difficult to cook and sleep. The toilet facilities were a disgrace and never cleaned, we was there 4 days and wasn't cleaned once, they were also cold no toilet rolls, short timed showers.

Electric hardstanding touring caravan pitch
Liked: Really helpful staff both on the phone and in person. Guided us to our pitch when we arrived which was really helpful. Nice facilities. Very clean site and well organised. Could do with a water tap for the lower pitches but hardly a hardship. Really nice place only a stones throw from beautiful days out. Will happily return

Liked: Very good Site.
Camped for 2 nights in a Tent.
A mixture of Static Caravans, Mobiles Caravans, Campavans and Tents.
There is a specific area for Tents.
Good facilities, Toilets, Showers, Washing Area and Play Area for Children.
Would stay again.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have some picnic tables in the Camping Area.
