Not worth the price with the poor facilities.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The pitch size was excellent.
The 12:00 leave by time was nice, could take our time and relax a little in the morning.
Disliked The toilet and washing facilities left a lot to be desired. There weren't enough of them, they were very unclean and had ran out of toilet paper and still hadn't been replenished they next day.
No shops due to location.
From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to write a review.
Iam sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your stay.
Iam unsure where the toilet paper went as these are checked daily.
Maybe we had a toilet paper thief on site.
The facilities are basic as stated when booking. Unfortunately we can’t meet everyone’s expectations.
Quite ok
Electric grass pitch
Liked Nice grass, small and calm campsite. Water tap next to each pitch.
Disliked Toilets and shower was not really tide.
Friendly Staff

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked It was peaceful and quiet, with great views. Enjoyed seeing the menagere of various animals in nearby fields.
This site will be great for those needing to stay away from fireworks.
Disliked Only one toilet and shower so facilities are under pressure during busy times.
Nice place to stay, simple with all thats necessary
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Plenty of space, clean little toilet with cold and hot water, farm with ostriches (!!) and pigs and cows which were really sweet and cool to observe. The owners are very nice as well.
Disliked Nothing really - it can be a little hard to find though, as google maps leads to the main road only, but not to the farm itself.
nice open space with good views…
Electric grass pitch
Liked nice open space with good views
Disappointing
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Countryside views & tidy pitch
Disliked V. basic container building for facilities with chained metal door that banged in the wind.
Not enough facilities for site- 1 toilet & 1 toilet/ shower
Bins overflowing with rubbish & 2 big holes in the ground nr bins.
Extra toilet labelled for toilet waste emptying & nowhere labelled for waste water disposal.
No hot water for washing up.
Highly recommend despite the one shower
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Perfect quiet farm location midway between Bakewell and Buxton. Clean loos and shower, decent size pitches and helpful owner
Disliked One shower is not enough. 15 pitches were taken so it was not easy to take a shower in the morning
Friendly stay
Electric grass pitch
Liked Nice views quiet site owner was
Helpful with any problems
Would stay again
Disliked Could do with better showers
And washing up facilities
