What customers say
Damside Campsite is praised for its stunning Peak District location, offering beautiful views and access to numerous walks. Reviewers consistently highlight the cleanliness and quality of the toilet facilities. While described as a peaceful, remote, and basic site, many appreciated the spacious, level pitches and friendly, helpful owners. Some minor points of feedback included the distance to the pub and playground, occasional issues with toilet capacity during busy periods, and the presence of sheep droppings in the field. The site is recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Fantastic location. Great value for money
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Quiet location, surrounded by fields and beautiful views
Disliked Toilets were great, however, quickly became dirty with no toilet roll. After the morning rush they were clean again.
Allocated pitches would be ideal- when we got back to the pitch a car had pitched up right where our van was attaching to the drive away awning. Some families took over 2-3 pitches meaning the rest of us had small pitches
