Fine for a night or two to visit the area.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (members only)
Liked A small campsite next to a pleasant pub. Booked through pitch up and turned up about 2 hours later. Rural location. We were the only ones there. EHU for about 8 ish. Pub was open and had lots of room to sit outside. Unfortunately unable to eat there as they had an electrical problem in the week prior. Menu looked good though!
Toilet and shower available with a code. No light at night though - probably leftover from the electrical problems.
Toilet emptying available.
Outside tap.
Fine for one or two nights.
Disliked Toilet and shower were basic. Needs a bit of tidying up and the electrics sorting (possibly already in hand). The grass pitch was nice as we were the only one, but if all EHUs were used, it would be very cramped unless the intent was to spread out over the carpark.

What customers say
This small, friendly site offers a peaceful rural location with lovely views and excellent pub food. While generally clean and well-maintained, the toilet and shower facilities are basic and in need of an upgrade, with some guests reporting issues with lighting and cleanliness. Pitches are grassed over hardstanding, which can become boggy. Despite some minor facility issues, many guests found it great value for money and a perfect stopover, with a strong desire to return.

Nice field, good facilities but security needs attention .
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (members only)
Liked A great little field at the side of a pub inc shower and we facilities. Nice people.
Disliked The pub had a busy night and cars spilled into the campsite, some parking next to our unit. Thought this was dangerous as no respect for campers. Traveling at speed. Luckily no kids on site. The entrance to the field requires a chain or something to stop this happening.
