What customers say
This is a well-maintained and clean site with friendly, helpful staff. Guests praise the spacious pitches, excellent play park, and warm indoor swimming pool. Glamping pods offer private bathrooms, a bonus for many. Its location provides easy access to the Tissington Trail and surrounding areas. Some reviews mention distant toilet facilities from tent pitches, occasional issues with cleanliness in shower blocks, and a few report uneven pitches.

As much as I’ve mentioned some dislikes overall it’s a lovely place!
Glamping camping pod
Liked The site was lovely and well kept. The local takeaway list was a god send for our late arrival. FYI Bennys was insanely good. Everyone was friendly, peaceful and I liked the spacing between the pods. Very relaxing and good value. Can see us returning!
Disliked The bed is …… a challenge. I understand there is a space constraint but the mattress could have been better but it does the job.
Overall it was clean but just could do with a deep clean on things like the sofa. Also it seemed the tv remote batteries may have exploded but hadn’t been removed and remote cleaned so that was shall we say icky.

Great site for a little break away
Glamping camping pod
Liked Everything, second time staying here. First time in a camping pod second time upgraded to the Glamping. Both are good, if we were without kids I’d probably choose the camping pod, with kids it’s just easier to have that kitchen area in the Glamping. Staff very friendly, very good service. Glamping pod was lovely and spacious. Swimming pool area is nice and clean, if I’m being really picky pool is a little deep for younger children minimum is 1.2m but I was well prepared with all safety measures, floats, armbands, vests etc so all good, we enjoyed the swimming so would go in again. Play park is well maintained, shop is well stocked with essentials. Will book again for sure!

Overall we had a wonderful time, and it was a great place to stay.
Glamping camping pod
Liked Our pod was lovely and clean, and the double bed in the pod was very comfortable. The view from the porch was beautiful as well! The staff were so friendly, attentive, and helpful.
Disliked I wouldn't say it necessarily falls under "dislike", but it should be noted that the pods are not very well insulated, so we were quite cold our first night there, even with the heating unit in the pod on high. It was handled swiftly the next morning by a member of staff, and they brought us a small, additional heater for the rest of our stay. The pool facility is also a bit outdated, and it smelled a bit of smoke in certain areas but also that's to be expected in older buildings, and the pool and room was still fully functional and housed everything we needed whilst we were swimming.
