Not as good as it used to be
 Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Green grass, lovely location next to Tissington trail and a nice walk to the Old Dog for a pint and a meal.
Disliked Not as good as it used to be. New toilet block has no seats or benches. Could be cleaned more frequently. I get the impression they want to focus on their static caravan and yurt side of the business.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
Liked Nice location near the Tissington Trail
The pitch was good with EHU and water
Handy for seeing family staying in one of the lodges
Disliked The toilets were not cleaned while we were there and needed cleaning
There are no hooks in the toilet for your coat.
The showers were ok but nowhere to put anything except one clothes hook a shelf and more hooks would improve them.
No grey waste disposal for camper vans - needs a drive over grid for grey waste

 Camping pod
Liked Pods in excellent condition. Warm enough for October.
Disliked Would be great is there were picnic benches near pods and some shared kitchen facilities

Good location, ideal for families
 Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Swim pool, large and varied play park - I had my 6 yr old grand-daughter with me. Helpful friendly staff. Quiet corner of very large holiday park. Near tissington trail. Facilities all clean
Disliked Weather! Can’t be helped. But I was on a sloping grass pitch and it was tricky to manoeuvre and get level - I sadly carved up the grass a bit but maintenance man came to help me quickly when summoned. We braved the long walk to the very welcoming Bentley Brook Inn at night - (Coach n Horses need to update their website 😱 they were closed)

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
Liked This site is nice, clean and quiet. Tucked away beside the TissingtonnTrail just off the A515 between Buxton &Ashbourne it is easily accessible. There are a number of holiday let's split between Glamping Pods, Lodges & Static Caravans. There are also a number of touring pitches which join on to the good quality children's playground. There is a heated indoor pool that can be booked and is a nice extra. The onsite store had the essential daily items, the prices were quite high as expected, but there are a number of shops a short drive, cycle or walk away in Ashbourne . A small food outlet onsite would be a huge benefit to this site.

Overall a great site
 Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Quiet site, good size play park, great to have swimming pool onsite, toilet and shower block were clean, great location for trip to Alton Towers, lovely pubs within walking distance - we went to Dog for drinks and coach and horses for dinner.
Disliked Only children up to 12yrs were meant to be in the park. It was lovely to see our teens being kids again and enjoying the park. The park was empty and they weren’t upsetting any younger kids but were told by guy cutting the grass to not be in the park. I would understand if the park was busy or they were being rude or rough to upset younger kids but they were just enjoying hanging out, being kids again on the swings. Just felt a bit petty.

Really nice place to stay. Few niggles but overall enjoyed it.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
 Liked - Big Park
- Swimming pool was nice and warm
- Really quiet and peaceful
- Hardstanding pitch had its own water feed. I didn't have the pipe required as im new to this but the advert didnt say anything about the pitch having this
- Friendly staff
Disliked - No gate to the park on the touring side. Kids had to walk round
- Needed more hooks in the shower. I just draped my clothes over the door
- Prob be good to have a shower curtain half way down to avoid shower spray on your clothes
- Elsan Point was quite far away up near the statics
- My plot (26) had quite a slope on it so my rear stabilisers didn't reach the ground. I asked at reception and they kindly allowed me to take some spare blocks from underneath the show homes

Basic
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
Liked Quietness was totally awesome, little small shop and a swimming pool. Small play area for kids. Not a lot else.
Disliked Security to get on park was nonexistent.
Shower block door was broken, and wasn’t the cleanest of an area.
