Stayed here twice and would return.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Really clean toilets. Nice open country side with lots of insects and birds. A nice pub next door with lovely canal walks.
Disliked The grass was a bit long, but maybe it was for no mow May. Also the communal chill area looked a little tired.. And a broken picnic table and chairs.
Could do with putting up a sign to campsite on right hand side of road, to make it clearer where it is.

Liked Nice clean site. We started on a grass pitch, the second night we asked to be moved. The nice lady in the office kindly moved us to a hard standing pitch. She was so helpful!!!
Disliked Grass needed cutting , our first pitch , the grass was too long to sit out there.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked A fabulous small, quiet site on the side of a pretty canal. The staff in reception were lovely. Showers/toilets were great...Just like having your own bathroom..spotlessly clean.
The site is a couple of minutes walk from a beautiful, friendly pub, which served scrumptious food.
We'll definitely stay there again.

Ease of booking…
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Ease of booking
Disliked Someone already on our pre booked hard standing pitch when we arrived. No contact details after 5pm to sort it. Had to park on grass which has not been cut for a while. Very noisy with road and trains.
Still no one has contacted me regarding this even after I sent emails.
