Liked Everything about it was perfect. Peaceful site and felt off grid. Shepherd hut itself had everything you needed. The showers were hot and the unit kept clean. We will definitely be back hopefully for longer next time with grandchildren and their families.

We had a great stay, even though the weather was quite wet.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We liked everything about this site.
Every pitch has a camp fire, which we made good use of, and cooked stew over it with our Dutch oven and tripod. The toilets, showers and utility room were kept lovely and clean. You can choose any available pitch when you arrive. We chose one next to the stream, it was quite rocky ground but got the pegs in eventually. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay, we can't wait to come back next season. It's an ideal site for hikers as it's on the edge of Dartmoor, with paths right next to it.
