Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Excellent getaway-from-it-all country site on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons. Stunning site, fully serviced hard standing pitch overlooking river… 20 mins drive for fuel & supplies so we arrived prepared. Friendly and helpful staff and shower block well maintained. Incredible wildlife seen during our stay including squirrels, rabbits, owls, buzzards, red kites, robins, chaffinches, blue tits, nuthatches, tree creepers, dippers, sand martins (to name a few)!.. great base for river fishing. A tranquil site we intend to return to for a longer stay! 👍
Disliked No dislikes although a few basic supplies in a shop on site would be a welcomed addition. No TV reception but that’s fine with us as this is a place to step away from routine and breath in the fresh country air (strong wi-fi if you need to stay connected)!

Lune fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Keep returning to this exceptional site for touring caravans and campers… love the space of each pitch, large wood behind, all vans on level ground either side of superb facilities cabin, all facing out towards a field with pond and wildlife (deer, herons etc) and a beautiful bluebell wood leading to a fantastic dog friendly tree lined walk along the estuary full of lapwings, egrets, godwits and many other coastal birds (bring your camera and binoculars 😉)… also love the quietness, peace and tranquility of the site and being away from any road noise… also in the grounds of stunning Ashton Hall and you benefit from their garden centre which has a delightful cafe, ideal for a mid morning coffee & cake, delicious lunch or indulgent afternoon cream tea 😋☕️🍰😋 … this is a ‘must return’ perfect location for us… one more benefit to add, pitches are so deep, you park in front of your caravan length ways and still lots of space! Well done Pitchup for listing/recommending this amazing and tranquil site👍🫶🏼

Oswestry, Shropshire, England
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Walking around the five fishing pools, great views, lots of birds and wildlife...pitches are good size and the grounds/services are well looked after...wild areas are managed sympathetically to encourage wildlife and this site has streams and feeders running through with birds such as Wrens, Dippers, Kingfishers, Blue Tits & more being frequent visitors...for a tranquil, relaxing stay, this is a perfect site🙂👍
Disliked The weigh-bridge at the entrance could do with a chain across to deter unauthorised use (as it can be annoying late evening with people bouncing on it making loud booming noises) ...also, please allow more adult walking time around lakes after fishing ends, so more enjoyment can be had - just suggestions and did not spoil our stay🙂💚

From the manager: So please you had a nice stay, I have recommended to allow the pools to be open a little bit later.
