Berdorf, Echternach, Luxembourg
6-amp electric grass pitch
Liked Location and bar.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
The late departure time.
Play areas for children - we don’t have any children but the equipment for their use was smashing and obviously enjoyed. I suspect one or two adults had a go after dark!
Disliked Sloping pitch, proximity of pitches made it feel overcrowded, mixed campervans and tents. Non- existent internet.
The pitch we were allocated had previously been used by tent campers who had not used breathable ground sheets consequently it was mostly bare dry earth - fortunately it didn’t rain or it would have been a mud patch!

Non-electric gravel motorhome pitch
Liked A warm welcome despite our early arrival!
The site is small but nice natural landscaping with access to small private woodland and close to Pembroke Castle.
Thank you Cath and Adam for a very enjoyable, if brief, stay.
We definitely recommend for campers and small motorhomes.
Disliked Nothing to dislike but would like the privacy of a cubicle with wash basin.
Would also suggest an external sink for washing boots and dog!

Cheddar, Somerset, England
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Dog friendly with nice walk area.
The stream running along side the venue was a treat, and a real cool off venue for the dog.
Nice, clean facilities and a warm welcome.
Level pitches.
Nearby supermarkets, pharmacy and pubs.
Easy access to Cheddar Gorge and other sites of interest.
No screaming kids!
Disliked Access on foot via the main gate is a main road with no footpath/pavement, however we did find a safer alternative which takes a few minutes more.
WiFi a bit expensive.
