St Loy shepherd's hut
Liked Everything! The Shepherd's Hut was amazing, so well planned and everything that you could need. We also had a fire pit which was lovely to use one night. It looked over a wonderful view and was close to the shower block and toilets which was good. The owner was lovely and friendly, giving us lots of information when we arrived and being available throughout our visit. It was a fantastic place to stay.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Shepherd's hut
Liked The amazing shepherds hut were beautifully clean and fully equipped. The beds were comfy and spacious and the kitchen facilities indoors were great. We were met by the lovely owner who explained everything and gave us lots of local information. She was generous and kind and it really added to the experience. The toilet and shower facilities were easy to use and close to the huts. I loved the room for hair drying, such a great addition. The site is so close to the South West coastal path we had a great walk (advised by the owner) and a return by taxi (also mentioned by the owner) which all worked really well. The fire pits provided with each hut were lovely and we used one at night. We went at the end of September and inside the huts were warm and cosy.
Disliked There was really nothing to dislike about anything.

Camping pod
Liked The pods were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The sun came up in the front of our pod which was lovely and the landscaping around the pods was well done. We only had 2 nights here and it was off peak season so no-one else in the other pods so we had the space to ourselves which was great. We were lucky with the weather and could eat outside together. It was good to have a toilet next door.
Disliked We could not get through on the telephone to anyone during the day of our arrival (or the preceding days) nor could we find anyone at reception when we arrived. The keys were left in our pod doors and we were left to find out anything we could by ourselves.
The washing up station was full of leaves and there was no hot water.
Our pods were supposed to have underfloor heating. 1 had a heater on a stand and the other was freezing cold all night. Following morning a lady came and said the fuse must have gone and changed it and it then worked - they should have met us and avoided a night without heating. She also fixed the hot water but that also should have been sorted the night before.
If the weather is bad, there is nothing to sit on inside the pod, just the bed and a beanbag. It would be tricky to try and eat together.
The toilet was next door which was handy but the shower was on the wall in the toilet too and covered everything with water when you had a wash. Strange arrangement.

Bryn-Gwyn camping pod
Liked The peace and quiet. The view from our pod was amazing, lovely watching the sheep and the cows trek across the fields in the mornings. Great having electricity in the pod and the fan for hot nights. Also the wifi was very useful as there was no phone signal but we could ring using wifi instead.
The showers were spacious with plenty of hot water. The cooking area was good with tables and seats and a kettle on site. Meant you didn't have to bring too much with you.
