Liked Nice welcome on arrival, lovely little cafe and easy walking distance into Pocklington. Pitch can be selected on arrival.toilets and showers nice and warm and clean as is the dishwashing area. They had a dog show and a motorbike morning on whilst we were there.Easy access into site with our 8m moho and ample sized pitch

Liked Another great stay at this site. Was very quiet when we where there this time (midweek) so no issues at all with toilets and showers etc. Lovely views, easy pitch and walk into Withersea. It was very windy during our stay but you are on the coast so just something to bear in mind if you have an awning set up

Disliked Small issue, no hot water in the washing up area. showers and water in toilets lovely and warm so not sure why? Hence dropping one star

Liked Spacious pitches on quiet site behind farm. Easy walking distance to Caernarfon alongside the steam train track Slightly uneven pitch but nothing levels couldn't fox

Liked Lovely welcome by the hosts and easy access in our 8.5m moho Nice open field with decent sized pitches and some sheep grazing nearby Short 10 minute flat walk to local pub where we had an amazing Indian meal and a chat to some friendly locals Only used a one night stopover en route back from South wales but would easily have stayed another night or so if we didn't have to get back home. Good use of space for the toilets, showers, washing up etc and clearly marked recycling.

Disliked Not a dislike but mobile signal (02) is a bit hit and miss Option of a squeegee or mop in the showers so we can give it a clean down after ourselves so it's not left too wet for next user

Liked Clean, spacious Aire set behind the MOD Firing range. Pull on, take a plot and park up. Access for barriers is provided on day of you visit. Ideal for a stopover whilst visiting Pendine with easy acres to the beach within a couple of minutes. Small shop and chippy 2 minutes from site with more facilities within a couple of minutes including a couple more shops, bistro, pubs with public restrooms on beach. Electric and Water next to pitch shared between 2 plots. We had an issue one day when our neighbour had blown the electric. All dealt with super quickly. Beach was the highlight here and the reason for our visit. Part of the beach is blocked off by the MOD primarily through the week during daytime hours but when the tide is out there is so much room. Well done Pendine council for this excellent use of space!

Disliked Not a dislike, but the Aire is on a main road in and out of Pendine. Didn't disturb us but worth noting. Also opposite a static caravan park which is spread around the village so plenty of passers by Don't waste your money at the 'fish and chippery' part of the holiday resort opposite. Frozen chips and tasteless food

Liked What a find! Super peaceful site of only 5 well spaced pitches. Backing onto the most amazing Castlemorton Common for good dog walks with 2 ponds and with a back drop of the Malvern Hills. A good 10 minute walk to one of the local pubs (The Farmers Arms) which was super cute and served a traditional pub menu of home cooked food and dog friendly. There were another 2 within about the same distance which we didn't have time to sample. Views were amazing especially as the sunset. It is remote so for motorhomes like us who like to set up and not drive, make sure you've got all you need! Caroline was fabulous! From the initial directions received by text, stopping for a chat as she went about the busy farm and giving us some good tips but mostly for letting me feed baby lamb Jude (a proper highlight for me) and gifting us some homegrown tomatoes to take away after we'd watched as she watered the veg (highlight for OH). Small things go a long way in making a place memorable and we will most definitely return to visit

Liked Amazing views from the clifftop. Lovely staff and the Flying Pig was a great bonus. Super quirky and a great use of space. Plenty of space on the hard standing pitches and even though the site was busy and these pitches are next to the road it wasn't intrusive and it was peaceful and no issues with the showers/toilets etc Easy walk into Withernsea for a nosey around and a bite to eat. The Alma was our favourite but a few cheap pints in the Butterfly which also served food. The site really has got it all covered with amazing views to boot. Keep and eye out for the fresh eggs over the road as the hens couldn't lay them quick enough for the demand of us hungry camper 😋

Liked Spacious pitches in peaceful surroundings. Basic site as per advert with only green waste (sachets available on site) working farm and welcomed of a morning by the cows, cockerels and sunrises. Lovely to see the hens wandering the field. Lovely owner with a detailed sheet of local pubs, walks etc. The Royal Oak is definitely worth a visit as the food and service are great. A wander down to Monyash and a pint in the Bulls Head was a lovely treat just be careful on the walk down as the roadside is very overgrown so means walking in the road. A lovely respite from the hot weather with a lovely cool breeze due to the sites elevation

Disliked Not a dislike just a mention, Slight intrusive road noise from main road (passing motorbikes) in the distance but not an issue at all whilst sitting out as the country sounds override it and didn't hear a thing inside.

Liked Secluded peaceful stop on a sunny Sunday. 5 pitches in total with EHU and water taps but we were the only ones parked up for the night which was lovely. Small working conservation farm (pigs, cows and owls)with 3 holiday let's set away from the pitches, with nothing but birdsong to be heard. 20 minute walk through the bridleway will bring you to a lovely pub on the side of a small river, also a co-op 20 minutes walk up the road. One hut with toilet and shower enclosed which was clean. Plenty of shade options as surrounded by trees and a meadow. Rustic

Disliked Feels a bit like the pitches have been left and the holiday let's are the focus. Phone signal is pretty rubbish (o2) which isn't a complaint just to make others aware but TV signal was perfect

Liked Had a great 2 night stay at Willentree! Picked up a Motorhome in Lancaster and wanted a pitch on a small site to try everything out. 5 perfectly formed fairly private pitched Willentree was perfect! Bill the owner was on hand if needed but left us to it. Fabulous little place with sheep, horses and an abundance of cows in the surrounding fields. Grey waste and chemical waste easy and clean (May need a hose to dispose of the grey waste of your tap is low to the floor like ours). Brilliant little pub 10 minute walk to the right when you come out of the site ( The Punch Bowl} Geoff and his wife serving good food and drinks and a 30 minute walk to the left takes you to the village with a couple more pubs all with friendly locals, shops and takeaways if wanted. A couple of walks along the river through the fields with cows and sheep was a lovely way to set us up for the day! Would definitely return when in the area
