Liked Really peaceful site in a fantastic location, with beautiful scenery. A good walk into Ashbourne which is a very nice town. Easy access, level, access to EHU, water, waste and there was one portaloo if camping. Owners came over to say hello and check all ok, but not overly intrusive

Liked Stunning location, within walking distance of Ambleside and Hawkshead, as well as a couple of other pubs. Site was absolutely immaculate, with outstanding facilities. Pitches were very spacious. Very peaceful

Liked Absolutely stunning location, amazing hosts, no frills but everything you need, including EHU, water points, clean toilet and shower and plenty of space.

Disliked Not quite dislike as such but tricky to find without what3words however the hosts were amazing when I rang for help

Liked Really peaceful, picturesque setting. Spacious, well appointed shepherd's hut. Very clean showers/toilets. Lots of nice walks, pub in about 50 mins walking distance. Cafe on site, although only open until 4pm
