Liked The pitches have electric and water. Showers and toilets were clean and functioned well. It served a good purpose for us as a stopover on the way to a campsite much further away.

Disliked Given you are near a beautiful marina, there is no view of this. Although dogs are welcome on site, the layout of the pitches means it's hard to find somewhere level and grassy to put a tie-in stake in the ground you can clip your dog to.

Liked Lovely view of the sea, good facilities, very quiet, good shop on sight. Good value for money.

Disliked Pitches are very slanted so unless you have bought the ramp parts for your campervan/motor home/ caravan, you will be sleeping at an angle. Our pitch didn't have a view of the sea which is a shame, because there were other pitches free, but you have to park on the pitch you're allocated.

From the manager: Thank you for recent visit We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and enjoyed the amazing location. Chycarne camping areas are divided up in to three different areas situated throughout the 14 acre campsite. Well over half of all the pitches are level and the remaining are on a gentle slope, not generally to much bother for most campers. we are always happy to help and provide additional blocks/ ramps if needed. Pitches are allocated but if one would like to change their pitch then we are always to happy to oblige providing we have the availability and the pitches are not pre booked. so pitches may seem empty but if they are pre booked then they can not be reallocated. Generally all sea view pitches are booked early We do not make any charge for these pitches. We much appreciate your comments Chycarne
