Liked Lovely little campsite Really nice little site. We only stayed for one night in our campervan but would definitely come back. Nice and quiet, facilities were clean and the pub being right there is a massive bonus. We ate in the pub in the evening and there happened to be an open mic night on, so stayed for a couple of drinks, listened to the music and played Uno with the kids. Really nice evening. We had a non-electric grass pitch and even with a bit of drizzle it was absolutely fine. Site was really quiet when we got back to the van and we had a great night’s sleep. Great value for what we paid and just a really nice, relaxed place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

Liked Booked a non electric pitch. Great price. Parked down the bottom near the dog walking field and not many others there so almost like we had the place to ourselves. Facilities were well kept and we had everything we needed for a one night stay. Would recommend and will be back.

Liked Great price for two adults for a one night stay including access to the village for arrival day and the following one including electric hook up. Facilities are outstanding. Pitches are level and sheltered from wind by trees. Site was very quiet on a mid week day in Easter holidays.

Disliked Read one review about Pitch 7 before booking…then arrived and we were given pitch 7. We had a joke about it when parking up and immediately as my wife opened the van door a huge splattering hit the van roof (and my wife’s head)! One of those stories to tell the kids 😅 Luckily it wasn’t very busy on site and the receptionist was great in letting us move to another pitch away from the larger trees. Didn’t stop us having a great time.

Liked Arrived in February for a one night stay. Parked up, hooked up, heater on and a cosy evening in the van. Woke up to snowy hills in the morning. Facilities were great and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
